Being as the rolling brawl hasn’t bothered to weigh in on this, I will.
Ganking to me means to catch your opponent off guard and put them down in a manner that is decidedly one sided if you would. You pop out of the gate and my four buddies and myself pop you in a manner in which you have no reasonable chance of escaping aside from having spotted the danger beforehand and buggered off to somewhere else instead.
Suicide ganking is similar, but involves the determination on the part of the aggressors to lose their ships to the pigs in order to make this happen.
Also, ganking is not ‘griefing’, which is the low key bait of this entire threadnought, to which all those who opine have gathered like sharks around freshly chummed waters.
