You’re on!
Great!
Assuming you have any previous combat skills, the first lesson is:
Make a new minmatar char … (unless you want to -10 an old one)
… skill directly for thrasher lvl 2, and up your damage by two levels as well …
… then go start killing pods in highsec. Use Artillery.
While doing so skill for aligntime and RoF. Whatever level finishes first you put in.
Don’t just skill one skill up, then the other skill up.
Mix depending on the time a level takes.
When you’ve killed three in a row report back.
Killmails as evidence, of course.
Cheating would just cheat youself, so I doubt you’d do that.
I’m serious. There’s no point in teaching you when you’re not -10 …
… because without being -5, at least, in highsec there’s no pressure.
Without the pressure it’s not going to work.
Okay?
If you don’t have any combat experience, tell me.
PS: Given that your portrait is alright, I suggest making a female char.
Im clear and out o7
I’m already Minmatar, so that’s 1.
I want to be outlaw so I’ll use this one.
I’m already thrasher 1 and I think even 2 ( I jumped directly to Amarr ships cause I love them ) but still, shouldn’t take me more than a couple hours for thrasher 2.
Damage lvl is 3
But, but won’t CONCORD crush me like a grape??
I guess I’ll have 6 seconds to kill a pod… must be doable.
Align time, ok.
What’s RoF?
Doing exactly that. Less-time skills first.
Roger-roger shiponfire
I don’t cheat.
Understood.
I can hold my own. Sometimes brain freezes when there’s too many enemies but I can shake it off.
Can I do all that with this main? I was planning to go rogue anyway. Good girl is boring.
You have one shot at the gate before sentry turrets fry you …
… unless you use a proper fitting.
RoF is Rate Of Fire. You’ll need that higher for later.
Your primary goal now is to shoot pods in one shot.
That’s all you got and it’s important that you can do it.
That may sound silly but it’s not actually as easy as one might think.
Remember to use Republic Fleet ammo. It’s cheap and a bit better.
Sorry for assuming you don’t know.
I know nothing about you.
I honestly prefer one-character-people.
They’re more true to the original spirit of EVE.
So … yeah, stick to it. Makes it more fun anyway.
Alts destroy the experience.
You can always bail out by using clone tags to up your sec.
Which is sad and you hopefully won’t ever need it.
Be sure to spam warp to save your pod, when your ship explodes.
