Gideon Zendikar for CSM20 - Fixing A Stale Meta

About me:
Hello fellow capsuleers,
many of you have interacted with me, be it as a part of the Legacy Coalition as an FC in Evictus during the Winter War vs. FRT, in one of the Invasions Of Providence with T.R.C or as an FC in Spectre Fleet leading an NPSI fleet into a ball of fire while inflicting losses.
These days my alliance D-sync stages in Thera, deploys for content on short stints like our latest Omist deployment with B0SS or tries to keep up with our old ways of shooting FRT during the current Alliance Tournament:

D-sync Yeets FRT Barghest

While being part of these groups I always had a hand in guiding newer players and picking out talent and helping these people find the confidence to lead in certain capacities. While trying to guide these newer players I always had a pulse on the challenges these people might have to endure if they are trying to step up. The history of these past actions can be seen during a spy accusation in T.R.C. where people who believed me to have spied on them pointed out these actions as positive feedback in this Reddit post:

Reddit post with people commenting on my past interactions with them.

Past actions and CSM Agenda:

Projection:
During my past CSM campaigns and public appearances on podcasts/shows like Declarations of War I have advocated for things that have entered into the game in some fashion and I would like to help make these changes a success.
Skyhooks and Metenoxes have been introduced as a passive income source that I was discussing in the podcast above and one of the main issues I voiced with such a source was the building of cartels that are supported by the projection that in particular Ansiblexes provide:
To bring these issues to CCPs attention I created this draft: FC Appeal To CCP To Change Ansiblexes
The points pointed out in this draft and fears I voiced in the podcast have now materialised. Nullsec is more centralised - medium alliances have no more space in nullsec to carve their own space and story and the current blocs overshadow any local conflict by proxy that is starting to flare up. For medium/small alliances to exist the speed of projection across regions has to be reigned in.

Balancing:
Ship balance does not need to be perfect but it needs to have a vision and frequent iterations to keep the meta moving, the industry adapting and theorycrafters reinventing new metas. The last changes in the Legion update to the armor rigs were a welcome change - and some of the changes have disrupted the balance of specific ships but it certainly made for fun theroycrafting sessions and welcome meta changes.
An issue that has an effect on all areas of space I would like to see adressed is the way abyssal webs/points/scrams scale on bonused hulls with links. The multiplicative bonus on abyssals or event drugs pushes the webbing bonused ships to far into the oppressive direction.

PvE - Risk vs Reward:
Risk and Reward of PvE activities must be balanced and should make people engage with their local area. Highsec by its nature is a region that limits the spectrum of interactions that are possible. It is good that there are income sources that can be done on your own terms, in your own time, in safety. These income sources should not be the min/maxed highest income source for players to do. Min/maxing players out of interactions is not healthy for a living vibrant EvE universe.
As an Example:
Just like Level 5 missions require a Low Sec Agent the highest abyssal tiers should not be allowed to be run in Highsec.

Low Sec Raid Mechanics:
Skyhooks provide an adhoc interaction point with locals living in an area. Should no locals exist it gives that space value for roamers and raiders to fight over those income faucets. During my roams and interactions in Nullsec the Skyhook grids have been a reliable content source not just with local inhabitants but other raiding groups. To help non faction warfare Lowsec gain a more active playerbase that could develop, a raiding type mechanic could help revitalise the barren areas of Lowsec.

Final words:
As proven by my past predictions and advocated changes in previous campaigns a lot of changes have been added later down the line and I want to help make these changes more of a success. To help me do that I would love to have your vote.

Fly unsafe but be safe,

o/ Gideon Zendikar.

Hello Gideon Zendikar, first of all good luck with your campaign :flexed_biceps: …and may the best will win ofc :sports_medal:
(I will great every candidate this way  )

Hope you find time to share your thoughts on below topics and game ideas.

1. EVE Vanguard
Have you had an occasion to try it during Operation Nemesis or earlier? What was your impression if any?

What do you think about bidirectional connection planned with EVE Online? Do you see it has a potential to attract more players towards New Eden? And do you think Capsuleers will benefit from it?

2. Information & ISK itemization
How about being able to take a notes from your notepad and put it as an item into container or ship cargo? Same with an amount of ISK? Just like you can do with PLEX.

Would you pitch CCP to consider implementing it?

3. Production Plans
Basically the idea behind this is to bundle all the BPOs (BPCs), required to produce some final product, say, an assembled Drake fully fitted according to some saved fit ready for duty, into a single BPO-like item, and internally arranged into an intricate production workflow. Complete with logistics tasks, if necessary, using delivery corp projects. It could use BPMN diagram editor to arrange.

When installed into industrial job slot it will churn out those Drakes, provided there are required materials in linked containers or pause until they are become available again.

Would you pitch CCP to consider implementing it? Or at least expand ESI to allow 3rd party developers to do it?
