Imagine a forum were they ban both the haters …
… and those who enable the haters!
It would be vastly different!
A forum where moderation looks for false claims and lies with the help of the people. Where they ban disruptive behaviour and low quality trolling. Imagine a culture where people actually have to back up what they say, where it matters what you do and did in the game. A forum where people respect people for what they do and who they are, instead of what they wish to represent and project onto others!
Imagine a forum where it is strictly forbidden to insult and or spread
false claims about players or whole groups of players.
Imagine a forum where obvious haters are being banned simply because it’s unacceptable to continuously spread lies and mistrust simply based on feelings with no actual substance in reality.
It would cut away far more of the toxic waste running around here …
… than most people would probably imagine.

The forums like the sandbox should be open to accept all levels of play/banter, except real life threats or racism. As for Trump well these forums do not support politics either i’m sure Dorim Barsterlode will be along shortly Xd. In b4 lock. Maybe we can hook up in hek i’m low on sp I.E. no sp as this is a forum alt but im sure i can throw some antimatter your way. o7 I dock for no one regardless.

indeed, you should be banned form the forum.
I disagree Solecist has a long and historic policy of being controversial on these forums, he/she should not be banned anyone calling for that. Would be in my opinion classed as forum extremophiles who try to manipulate the forum meta. Even though I call for forum lock and antimatter all voices regardless should be heard.o7.

The ones who benefit the most from this “everyone deserves to be heard” nonsense are those who abuse it the most. Everyone else doesn’t give a ■■■■ and doesn’t actually act in a way that it’s problematic. These problematic people are also the biggest hypocrites, constantly claiming that it’s actually the others who are bad. They constantly declare themselves oppressed, or victims, or “think of the children”
They benefit from the fact that plenty of idiots give them a platform to speak on, where they can keep screaming and screaming to attract and amass more and more and more of their kind, until they’ve reached enough people to eventually tip the balance of power into their favour.
That’s how this works. I kid you not. It’s how this works and there doesn’t even need to be a plan behind it. It’s how these ■■■■■■■ people work and they’re horrible.
The only thing saving us from this, here on the forums,
is the fact that only a tiny minority of these assholes actually dare playing EVE.
The sad part is that, over time, they’re still a growing crowd.

You know exactly that it’s the other way round, but that’s how this cancer works.

I’ve been watching all of this since 2013.
Every single one of them is a problem and not worthy the freedom they are being granted,
because someone who deliberately tries to use that freedom against everyone else does not deserve it.

This thread seems to have turned into a ‘Ban everyone that doesn’t think and play like me’ churn.
A problem here is that certain folks try to turn most threads into trash in order to get them locked. It’s a way shut out participation on the forums.

My part was answering to soletist’s “people who don’t think like me must not be tolerated”. Otherwise I actually don’t care, just pointing out the absurd of his point.
You should check out threads where people want to talk about suicide ganking when it’s not about nerfing it to the ground. Eventually people stopped trying, because the white knighting assholes just keep ruining it.
