Nah. CCP doesn’t need to remove something just because a few thinks its a waste of time if others enjoy it.

No, they need to remove it because it’s **** design and a relic of the earliest days of EVE when CCP had an incomplete understanding of what their game could be and mindlessly parroted some of the standard genre conventions. Missions integrate very poorly with the rest of the game and only exist because the genre convention of MMORPGs was to have that kind of quest system. It’s kind of like how attributes exist, not because they add anything to the game, but because the genre convention was that your character has D&D style attributes.
Sorry if you enjoy them but missions need to meet the same fate as WIS and the door to nowhere.

That is one reason I really like this game. You have so many options like going on a roam, shooting some rats simply for something to do to kill time, or even mining some rocks while the lazors try to put you to sleep, maybe to make it easier to gank you. I always thought Dev made them that way on purpose. 
Sometimes I actually enjoyed “afk cloaking” in my Cov Ops annoying some of the locals in some random Null Sec system. Put them to sleep so we could hot drop them a few weeks later.

Why even have shields on armor ships?
You’d think with all that lame tiericide breaking the founding doctrines of the game they could have… oh wait I should shut up before they get the idea that all bonuses for defense should be the same.
It’s great that people get in heated arguments over PvP vs. PvE in this game. You’re both wrong, they both suck, so get over it.
And you really expect us to believe that?
On ships being moved or moving cargo, having an EM Ward adds a large benefit against gankers and gate campers.
As many know these two player types will favour EM damage to get down to armour fast. By having even 13% EM shield can give you that extra time you need to get back through a gate or Warp out.
I’ve personally tanked gate Pipebomb campers in a fast Punisher cargo runner down into hull and got away.
Even had an Blockade Runner locked down by gate campers, and managed to turn around and make it back through the gate i can through with 1/4 armour left.
Also been attacked leaving Jita station by gankers, that had killed a corp mate in his Shield Tanked BR, i survived to see Concord rip them a new one and then warp off with full cargo.
So yes a great Armour Passive Tank with an Shield Passive Hole Filler can make a huge difference.
Now i’ve been told it’s stupid and won’t work, but it’s been proven to work, and not solely in HighSec, but also in Lowsec,Nullsec and Wormhole Space.

Might be risky to rely on it. All they need to do is change ammo type, and you’d probably be toast, or burnt bacon.
True though normally the other shield resistances are much higher by default. So changing ammo will only reduce the DPS they can land on you.
One reason they use EM damage to kill shield as it’s normally 0% resistance.

This is my EvE main character ( I do have more accounts) and the only one I have ever used to post with on these forums. Whether anybody believes that or not is inconsequential to me.

What I find most interesting is the fact that our PvE is really simple and easy.
It is. Pretty much everyone agrees on that and there’s no way to deny it.
It’s easily evidenced by just running missions. Do it for a week, if you require.
So knowing that PvE is stupidly easy in this game …
… what does it actually mean when certain people call our PvE “fighting” ?

They probably also call mining “fighting” because it uses lasers to shoot things, and that sure sounds like combat to me.
