Don’t worry I’ll join mini fw soon and shoot you more than you want to be shot. xD Moving ships is a pain in the ass.

impossible, thats also after diplo skill lol.
Rose tinted glasses really? Have you missed the posts where i have highlighted problems and suggested that they get signifcantly nerfed. Thats hardly the definition of rose tinted glasses.
and how do i think? Possibly like someone who is still capable of some positivity.
My position is simple that filaments have some positive things to offer. Not that they are the be all and end all.
Oh boy! This argument again.
You know, many ex-players are still around on r/eve, so you can actually ask them, but you’re not going to like what they’ll tell you.
The longest bitter vets blame Fozziesov and Upwell structures.
Then the oldest bitter vets simply don’t have time for the grindy parts anymore, because they have a busy life now.
Also common are defunct null sec groups fell apart after passive moon mining was gone.
I’ve heard of maybe one guy who quit the game because of filaments.
Correlation doesn’t equal causation. Hell, the MMO genre as a whole has trouble competing with other game genres.
bubble-immune shuttles have made traversing high → low → null pretty easy. i see shuttles flying all the time.
Large smart bombs are the counter.
I agree, a spool up time or other way to block people from filamenting away from a chase would be simple solutions to the issue of people using 'filaments to escape’.
However, I sometimes do see people suggest the ability to chase a filament.
I do not think that is a good solution at all, if only because it allows players to bypass the intended 1/5/15/25 character limits of filaments and thereby allows roaming groups of 100+ people to filament around in null for content.
Currently 100+ man filament fleets are impossible, because no group greater than 25 can land in the same random spot.
But if you allow people to chase a filament destination, you enable such gameplay. And personally I don’t think that’s an improvement. Filaments currently allow smallish gangs to move around, but not large fleets. If filaments are chaseable, this restriction is gone.
So, please do continue asking for a spool up timer to filaments and other methods, but chasing filaments shouldn’t become possible, in my opinion.
That’s not the reason why numbers started to drop and continue to drop.
You’re mixing apples and oranges.
Ahhh yep, that does indeed make sense. Boo and hiss. Woulda been fun to be hopping all over the place having benny hill music playing on comms, but you are indeed correct - this is an obvious end result and broken af!
