You’re never going to win against a superior player as when you win they were in fact the inferior player, because of lesser skill, the wrong choices, fewer backup, or many other reasons that cause that player to lose the engagement. So when would you ever celebrate a victory if every victory is against a ‘lesser player’?
I would just celebrate any victory and look back at any defeat to see what I can learn from it. And I don’t bother with this whole ‘that player is inferior so I should not attack him’ nonsense. If he’s undocked he made the choice to be involved in a PvP game, so he better be prepared.

It could be that, or it could be they were in an entire fleet and just happened to come across your 220 mil praxis as the next potential juicy kill. Spectre fleet does 20-50 man fleets all the time and it isn’t a matter of calling out or mobilizing anything. We’re there, we’re looking for content, we will all engage it if we can.

I think you don’t understand much about EvE. The miners and haulers that we gank are not “defenseless or weak” - they are AFK autopilot bot alts for people who would not hesitate to shoot YOU if you came into the same system as their main. They are not your friends, and they are not innocent little angels.
Almost all new players wind up joining Karmafleet, Pandemic Horde, Eve Uni, Signal Cartel, BRAVE, or just about any group outside of Highsec. The people inside Highsec are scamming you, and only pretending to be new players.

It’s so easy to avoid PVP in EVE, CCP have made it so easy. PI, Abyssal, Missions ETC. It’s why NOT ENOUGH ship destruction is going on in EVE atm.
We need WAY MORE PVP to happen in eve.
