I’m… Not sure you read the post.
Which is okay. Not like you’re required to.

But I didn’t actually talk about you.

I just skimmed it and it seemed you are crying about the ever same ganking thread. Did you actually say something new and I should read it?

Brosef, you do you.

I interpret that as a no

I see nothing toxic about the statement made by @Tipa_Riot
Also, there is nothing in the bumping mechanic that falls within CCP Game’s definition of an exploit. In case you need a reference to go by, here is a link to their official terms of service.

https://community.eveonline.com/support/policies/terms-of-service-en/

  1. You may not exploit any bug in EVE Online to gain an unfair advantage over other players. You may not communicate the existence of any exploitable bug to others directly or through a public forum. Bugs should be reported through the bug reporting tool on our website.

Notice that they are referring to bugs. Bumping is not an exploit as it is not utilizing a bug in the game that would give anyone using it an unfair advantage. And as @Siimy_Dahma pointed out earlier, the bumping was easily negated by a common counter-bumping tactic known to many miners as manually flying around the bumper or orbiting a rock in tight circles.

Note: Orbiting around a rock at a relatively higher speed has a negative effect on the damage output of any suicide ganker’s guns since transverse velocity and optimal range have to be taken into account when ganking. A moving barge has a higher survival rate than a static barge because of this.

Since neither the bumping nor the counter-bumping methods utilize any bugs to work, neither one is an exploit and so both sides have a fair advantage over the other.

A very very very long time ago GMs would screw with you even for repeated bumping or local chat spam

Then how will you get better and outsmart them?

If youre looking for a space simulation youre in the wrong game. If you are looking for a society simulation where people are demi-gods and pretty much immortal, outnumber and over power the police forces, have limitless resources and people to help, can build empires that span hundreds of solar systems then youre in the right spot.

Git gud or leev.

And what ^ that means is make not nessisarily friends but allies to help you. Im not saying become the next goonswarm but join a group, build a group with a common goal. I know youve at least hear the enemy of my enemy saying. Its not just a cliché moral to an old childs story.

Eve is an MMO. Emphisis on MASSIVE MULTIPLAYER instead of online.

Oh look more cycling back to the same tired regurgitated nonsense that keeps the game from growing or the discussion from evolving, shocker.

Oh look more crying from a carebear who can’t handle a video game.

I require a more articulated rebuttle.

In what way?
If that “same tired regurgitated nonsense” keeps the game from growing, is it because

a) its what the majority wish
b) it was how the game was designed and isits USP
c) theres some conspiracy whereby all gankers are somehow RMTers who secretly puppet CCP from behind the scenes
d) all of the above
e) You have another suggestion?

That must have been a very long time ago because I have been around since 2008.

Wait, you couldn’t get away in a venture… didn’t you fit a microwarp or even an afterburner, annoying yes, stupid people yes, they do it so people will post this up and they feel ejaculated.

lol, so mob mentality is really the height of your intellect, no wonder you people can’t comprehend anything but combat. Again, you keep repeating the same tired trash, and guess what? That same tired trash isn’t making the game grow. I’m suggesting something different, you’re suggesting things stay the same. To change is to grow, and games and people must grow or die. The game can’t grow while it caters to the every whim of a few sad bullies.

Antimatter is the ultimate argument.
