What kind of pvp are you referring to? I always check zkill to see the kills in every place I visit. The pvpers are still very active. Those players that don’t like danger, They should just stay inside NPC station and don’t undock.

We think very much alike …
… but I still don’t understand your problem.

Maybe I need more hot cacao/ovomaltine.

Then this just makes me even more confused because what do filaments have to do with “permanence”?

So… this doesn’t help me at all.

What do you mean when you say that “It’s about permanence” because it sound like in your sentence immediately afterwards that it’s got nothing to do with “permanence” and more to do with getting a lot of small gang fights.

I don’t want to derail this thread, so what does any of this have to do with OP?

I believe he’s saying that there’s little point claiming and defending a system in lowsec anymore,
like pirate groups used to. Nowadays everyone just filaments somewhere to get a fight somewhere else.

No point in sticking to a specific place when you will always be somewhere else.

The outcome of filamenting out is decreased permanence in lowsec systems due to no one settling anymore to find fights.
Claiming territory and defending a system in lowsec used to be a great way of finding fights one way or the other.
I say “used to”, because that’s how I remember it.

^ This guy gets it.

We can only hope that better players will come,
who don’t just care about pressing a button to receive their bacon.

But you’re one of those, aren’t you?
You don’t take residency in lowsec because you don’t actually give a ■■■■ about lowsec.

That is not true at all I love low sec, there is just nothing left at my home in Black Rise to fight for. Before I left I was spending hours and hours roaming and finding nothing but bot’s who insta warp out as soon as I appear on 1AU even if I’m in an atron and they are in a daredevil.

I’m not going to fight for dead space I will come back to low and faction warfare when CCP make some changes that bring back life to low and I mean permanent change’s. This event has some artificial life but it will go and black rise will die down again afterwards.

CCP should decide already to make the proving grounds permanent. 1v1, 10v10 etc. for pvpers to find an easy fights.

Easy and convenient are often accompanied with meaningless and empty. If you don’t believe me go and fight on the test server for 2 days just auto buy ship go out and fight and do it over and over and you will feel it for yourself.

It’s the same as wow battle ground’s its fun at first but when your on your 100th run its annoying, when you are on your 100th roam in eve it is still amazing because everything is always different. Any arena will always migrate to some type of stale meta, open world does not have that problem.

Well, this kind of content are being enjoyed in null. It’s just the tidi is annoying.

Not precisely this one. Their fights while being meaningless most of the time, still lead to someone getting crushed and evicted. At some point wallets deplete and someone moves away.
In the meantime participants some time get nice l00t.

Most people who propose “changes” to PvP (who conveniently also don’t engage in PvP) have no idea of the actual motivations behind it. They think that we just want to go out and do some “pew pew” and throw some “gfs” in local.

Null is full of brain-washed idiots who can’t think for themselves to such an extent that someone needs to provide them ships with fits, control them in fleet with broadcasted actions, and tell them exactly what buttons to press. Null-sec is a few conscious, intelligent individuals controlling a huge amount of worker drones in a game of human chess.

yesterday the minmatar came
there is hope

They want easy wins. Can’t hotdrop caps on a cruiser in the proving grounds.

That’s why pvp has different types. Seems the OP wants war type of pvp in lowsec. 1v1 proving ground is still the best pvp in eve online.

let me try to explain
low sec used to be home to 2 kinds of people
the militia and the pirates
pirates come in several flavors but usually they pick a system and live there , we can say system x is home of Y pirate
they sometimes appear in other systems in camps or fleets but most of the time they camp and pew pew in their home system
they are the 20 , 15 , 10, 5 neutrals that you see all over low
the militia is composed of several corporations that have the same objective , to plex , take territory , buff the team tier to make MOAR money
militia dudes do 4 things , plex alone , plex in group , gate camp , bash IHUBS
what we don’t usually do , the pirates or the militia is to have intel chats and to form fleets to fight ONE guy… or move to remove ONE war target in the other side of the war zone
null sec virgins do that
we are anarchic , the war zone is kinda small so we don’t need to roam to fight , the fight come to us in a organic way
like a whale with a big mouth open eating plankton
this ambient is perfect for pew and fun
but the null sec dudes are unhappy about the nerf in their crabing , and they are infiltrating low , to mine … to event … etc
and them the wrong type or mentality is ruining low
slow forming to blop
extra blinged ships
loooots of miners
and this ambient make the young ones corrupted , instead of joining the militia and fight they join some stupid mining corp to have SRP intel etc,
low is not null , yet :frowning:
ill do a bigger post some day
