I have a KR for Funkert and I don’t play enough to use it. He flies nice ships and goes back and forth between HS & Null. If I give it to you can you make it work out well for someone? I don’t care about the ISK.

If you assign it to me I can NOT forward it to others and I don’t have time to hunt him down myself so the best would be if people who are interested in the KR would contact you instead and you assign it to them. Although worth considering if you have time for this, if the people are actually reliable and if someone else might not buy it easier if the KR was set public instead.

Also there is no guarantee anyone would buy it from this thread so even better if you set his KR public for like 50 mil ISK or if you have no issue risking it 150 mil ISK (which based on his killboard as he sometimes loses 1+ bil ships in hisec is a fair price) and see if anyone uses it.

A public killright generally has a better chance of being bought as any random person who sees him on grid has a chance to see he has a killright and decide to hunt him down then and there or after reshipping and/or calling in a fleet to help finishing him off.

Also worth considering that he might buy his own killright so if you set it too low he gets off cheap, though if you set it too high nobody might care to activate it. However if the KR doesn’t sell for a while you might consider altering the price later on for the last week or two before it expires.

If you set it a bit higher (like 150 mil) and he still buys it at least you get back some of the loss he caused you (assuming he cause you loss while the KR was generated) or if no losses were involved then pure profit even if not a huge amount, free ISK is free ISK. :slight_smile:

So personally my recommendation is to set it public for like 150 mil and if it doesn’t sell set it to 50 mil the last week. But of course whatever you find proper.

Seems to me one could make a nice little profit out of being regularly ganked in some cheap ship and then getting kill rights on the gankers.

Not sure if that would work though. If the gankers are perma criminals they can be shot at anyway. If they only undock to gank and for some reason fix their sec status every now and then even then there is little opportunity for someone to activate their killright.

The only case it might work if you can have tornado gankers kill you thinking you haul expensive stuff as those types of gankers need clean sec status to can camp gates and stations but they usually have scanner alts to see beforehand what cargo you haul so tricking them might not be easy if they pay attention.
