★ ☠️ Headhunters' public killright office ☠️

So I had been upvoting these as to my understanding is after someone tracks down those targets that your Corp is then paying out the bounty?

Like are you by any chance reimbursing the killright fee to force flag those pilots to turn suspect?

No the killright is paid in exchange for the hunter to kill the target. I give nothing else in exchange and the suspect flag is granted automatically by the in-game system so I have nothing to do with that, one pays for the KR and the suspect flag activates automatically.

Most hunters do it for the thrill of the hunt itself so doesn’t matter to them if they have to pay a small sum for the kill.

Also if the target is flying a juicy ship it is worth the gamble to buy the killright.

However if they’re into it for the ISK only then they will only buy the killright if the target is flying something that has a chance of dropping more than the price of the killright.

Also buying a killright can be situational like it is not without precedent that a gate camper or lowsec roamer buys a killright to avoid having to deal with gate guns or like the Safety. team pointed out earlier buying the killright to avoid having to suicide their firing squad as the total price of their ganking ships would be more than simply buying the killright and not having to pay replacing said ships thus they still save ISK by buying the killright instead of if they haven’t.

So there can be several reasons why one might pay for the killrights.

Shall I let you into a little secret? The OP is a skillfully constructed facade for Uriel’s killright scheme.

He has a secure container in Parchanier containing a few bil ISK in Plex and various mission items for the COSMOS Drone Mind mission. Uriel’s alt destroys the structure and cruisers and takes the mission loot every time it respawns.

Players running the COSMOS mission arrive at the site and can view the contents of the container but the items are locked and cannot be removed. So they shoot container instead and receive a visit from CONCORD. This generates a killright for Uriel, which he then sells for 50 mil ISK a pop. Clever, eh?

I even have a related blog post that explains how I get the killrights, listed at the end of the opening post. Well technically the blog artilce explains killright farmind and sale and references / links to the other article about the container.

Though this thread is about the killrights as instead of just random people encountering these targets it is even more efficient if people are made aware of the killrights and those interested can actively hunt them. This generates content to hunters.

By the way nowadays the container has 4500 PLEX along with the usual set of mission items so it’s around ~20 bil ISK worth now and the price keeps increasing since a while due to inflation.

Also the mission runners are the minority of the satisfied customers of the container as in my experience most people are just going for the PLEX instead.

Oh and I already have well over a thousand of the cognitive hive minds and I barely ever sign in right after downtime to grab them and to be honest barely ever sign in in general so most of them go to people who bother to get them. Sometimes I can still take it like 8 hours after downtime or more so can’t say people are rushing to get it. If I recall correctly it is only used for one of the pirate arcs and also one specific COSMOS mission thus not really in demand / in use.

But yeah it is a fun niche thing I came up with and haven’t heard anyone else doing it and especially not this way so if something, have added something of my own design to the legacy of EVE piracy which is a satisfying thought.

:smirk:

@Gix_Firebrand that would be something.

But if anything I’ve two related decorations to my main to commemorate this and my other activities in Parchanier.

Nope, statue is needed.

I have tried a similar thing in a couple of other locations, but I think you have cornered the sweet spot there in Parchanier. Nicely done.

My lack of understanding about what this very thread is about only goes to show how your reply was very misleading to everyone and extremely inaccurate! You Aiko judge other Capsuleers with no reguard for the fact that perhaps New Eden doesn’t revolve around Aiko ie;

boring and redundant

Today we can see just above that this thread is very interesting and not at all boring or redundant gameplay.
