Here’s an idea: leave the tutorial zone and go out into the real game. Highsec should have very low profits to go along with the very low risks. You should be thankful that it is possible to make ISK at all and stop acting so entitled every time zero-risk farming doesn’t give you maximum profit.

As it should be. Highsec has zero risk or difficulty, highsec should have near-zero rewards. Stop whining about the risk vs. reward balance and leave the tutorial zone if you want to get more money.
What Merin is really trying to say here is that Merin prefers to hunt in low/null, but hasn’t been able to get a kill there in a couple years now, so please leave high sec in weak, poorly fitted ships to make it easier for Merin.
