warning is warning … if you ignore it → dont cry about your loss !
and add a loud sound to it that everyone has no need to read ? oO lol … if you cant “trust” a warning then your holpess lazy …
if you jump into low sec or wh there is also a warning ! does not mean you die on the other side but it has informed you that you jump into a dangerous system … triglavian and edencom warnings are the same ! and there is no need to make them different … inform ppl that there is possible danger on the other side ! more then CCP need to do …
This is the same logic as saying, “You accepted the iTunes terms and conditions, therefore you shouldn’t complain when they take over and lock your entire music library.”
As I said, the level of danger is not well-conveyed, and when the expectation of security in high-sec has been violated, that should be emphasized.
Why? Because you’re hell bent on playing the victim because of your own stupidity?
Exactly what will come from arguing about “perspectives?” I guarantee that you will clutch your pearls and die on your little hill refusing to accept anyone else’s “perspective.” It’s a nice little tactic that victims like to play creating “Straw man” fallacies, red herrings and other false equivalencies.
But sure, I’ll bite. Knowing full well that you have absolutely no intention of considering another person’s view on the subject.
The mechanic is fine. And a fun little kick in the pants to remind you that New Eden is dystopian broken universe where dangers lurk around every corner. That CONCORD is a corrupt organization that doesn’t give 2 shits about you and can be paid off (see clone soldier tags. EvE wiki is down at the moment). That High sec, isn’t safe space and one should always be looking over their shoulder. That loss, is inevitable.
And that is why I love this game so much, despite all the immersion breaking popups to protect the poor easily offended soft player base from themselves.
Then she’ll just get blapped in an Edomcom system, and come running to the forums crying about that, with a 50,000 word dissertation on why that game is broken.
What is your deal, man? Why are you so intent in painting me as some sort of bad actor?
Do I feel victimized? Yeah, I do. As I said, that was a loss I couldn’t afford, and it’s basically ruined my ability to participate in the gameplay experience that I enjoy and through which I have historically contributed to the fun of other players. I am not saying that my experience in this instance supercedes yours, simply that I cannot see how this mechanic as implemented enhances player experience. You disagree, and that’s great. Can you point to a concrete way the current implementation is better than the ones I’ve suggested?
I am very much open to considering your perspective, but you’ve so far only offered qualitative assertions that don’t actually address the topic at hand.
