High Sec and New Player Experience Are Tied - Make a change CCP

Empty autopiloted Ibises sure do bring in the $$$

I find the podding of the players by NPCs outside the abyssal space simply moronic and stupid. I have not lost one myself, but it’s just crap to have to look every time with the scouts whether you can get out of the wormhole somewhere in the HS normally through, it just sucks!

Ideas need to be balanced, with a healthy mix of give and take. This idea is all take and no give.

Suicide gang activities not always %100 profit purpose and not always end up with profit. They are taking risk too… or sometimes they do it for fun.

There will be alwyas people does that for fun… or just accept the cost of damage and make it cheaper than recieveing ends damage .

That is fun… and some people love it … your sugestion wont change anything from that perspective… makes gankers heroes, pleasure kingpins …

High sec and new player experience is not tied… you and ccp s incompetence cause that hallucination

and the clueless players continue, as long as plex is turned into isk and then turned into an asset, and assets can be turned into isk and be used to buy plex, losses mean profit. A free ships can’t be turned into isk.

Even CCP calls a ship an asset, be weary of the words CCP itself uses.

It’s because of m0o …
… who disco’d at a gate …
… for a long ■■■■■■■ time …
… killing everyone, including CONCORD.

That’s when CCP tightened and strengthened CONCORD.
Not sure they did it again afterwards.

There’s a video showing that one specifically, iirc.

m0o is directly responsible for a lot of things in this game.
There’s even a system dedicated to them!

They were the original antagonists.
Basically my role models and inspiration for this game.

You need to brush up on your EVE history!

I don’t actually remember watching these…

Gathering more and posting it here:

A thread with tons of info about m0o. They’re literally legends.

Nice videos! EVE looked so much different back then, yet also the same.

There’s tons to learn about them.
Like, for example, that we all literally suck in comparison.

No ■■■■■■■ kidding.
Compared to those guys we’re a bunch of stupid, lovely puppies.

Can you imagine the response to @Helicity_Boson randomly appearing, speaking to the former cohost, and resurrecting the Hulkageddon experience for today’s average hisec dweller.

No …

… i can’t …

… but … why?

I bought 80 last week for our velator fleet

Well … trying to approach this somehow, I gotta say …
… that Hulkaggeddon isn’t repeatable in the current environment.

There aren’t many Hulks out there.
CODE. are providing a permanent threat.
Mining ships are therefore better tanked.
Which ups the cost.
CODE. pays for the catalysts … I believe.

We already have a permanent Hulkaggeddon.

What’s the difference?

Ah gothcha.

I meant in spirit, not literally; CODE. are indeed predators but Hulkageddon had a magnificence to its scale.

The regular Burning of Jita was also magnificent, and proved that some people are terminally stupid.

You’re right. I get it.
Burn Jita came immediately to mind too.

All the great things eventually turn mediocre.
The cherrishing, the feeling of adventure and freshness are gone.

I feel old now.
Like an old tire.
Tired.

haha tire/tired. what a stupid joke.

You know … the best part about this …
… and by best i mean a mixture of ironical and sad … lol …
… is that an anti-ganker is highsec’s best hope for interesting content.

I mean no disrespect to anti gankers, some of them are good guys; but that’s a depressing thought.

Half the fun I’ve had has been outplaying those who like to prey on people like me, sadly there are so few hisec predators left that I know many of them by name, and they know everybody else.
