High Sec Gankers and Titans

Why do you keep referring to Destiny as an “it”?

I can field that question for you.

He calls me “it,” just as with the other things he calls me and other ideologically-aligned players, in order to try to get some kind of “emotional response” out of us. Basically just throwing his excrement at the wall to see what will stick. The hope is that one day, something will “hit” and cause me to fly into a “reeeee oh yeah well you are a reeeeee I am going to reeeeeee you just you wait” rage response.

But the flaw in his logic is that he thinks that he actually has any influence over anyone here. He doesn’t. His presence carries no consequences to anyone in EVE Online. He will never show up to anyone’s system and camp them in the station. He will never stalk and kill anyone when they least expect it. He can’t even get anyone in trouble with other player groups by badmouthing them, because he’s a nobody, and no one knows him. His words carry no weight, neither on the forums, nor in the game world itself.

And so he’s relegated to tiny little pithy quips here, mashing the report button and fantasizing that he successfully got us banned every time we stop posting for a few days, daydreaming about meeting one of us in real life and beating us up, and trading likes with Dracvlad:

Please stop griefing people.

Well a guy I play with does hi sec ganks on miners. Barges inclued. They have that high priced ore laser and it pays for all the catalyst he would need plus some profit.

Even tho he doesnt need this isk cause he is a krab.

With all the pronouns running around now, I think the attempt to insult with one is now diluted out.

Then again, if one’s identity is wrapped up in what other people call them, they’ll be easy trigger bait.

I wonder if he calls you that because it bothers him when others do it to him?

The conversation is about High Sec gankers and the reason why they wont filament a Titan from Low to Null to rat the anoms and them raid the ESS.

You would think the High Sec would want to save ISK on losing ships by raiding ESS structures. Whats a High Sec gank on barges nowadays?

Cost reduction is a key consideration and by the looks of it High Sec gankers could send two or three of not more into Null and raid ESS and could make the same ISK without losing 15 ships at a time.

Plus the turnover rate between raiding ESS is non-existent compared to the 15 minute timer.

Ok, thanks for the tips.

Have you considered the possibility that not all players are only concerned about money?

If I took his advice, I think my income would decline.

I’ve been wondering something, and maybe you can answer it.

Why is it the carebear is overly concerned about optimizing isk/hr. As if that’s the sole goal and motivation for every EvE related activity?

e.g.

You pretty much answered your own question.

It’s that, combined with a really low level of empathy/emotional intelligence that makes them project their preferences on others and unable to consider perspectives outside of their narrow world view.

Uh oh @Iceacid_Frostpacker rebels against @Aiko_Danuja and maybe tries to incite a conflict between her and @Aaaarrgg in the process? :eyes:

My pilots never failed ganking school and Princess knows this!

The only drawback is that you have to travel around Null looking the money pot ESS. I usually won’t raid any ESS under 25 million ISK. Just like in real life, raiding and ratting in Null requires work to be done.

I will send you 25 million ISK if you promise not to raid any more ESSes.

I don’t mind if he raids, I just wish he’d stop telling us about it.

I don’t mind listening to grandpa’s war stories, but the problem with Dryson is that his stories are not true most of the time, and grandpa turns out to be someone completely different from who we thought he was:
