High Sec Isk per Hour

Thats cool, just asking for a fiend.

Oh yeah for that stuff thats no problem, it was just we were talking about highsec and I was hoping on advice to make it more fun, if possible.

go covert ops with T2 scanner rig and full scanning array.

Your scanning strength both increases the radius required to acquire a sig , and reduces the deviation from the target. With enough strength (130?) you can triple shrink, that is go eg 4AU to 0.5, leading to any HS signature being scanned in two probe cycles rather than 3 or 4.

Also if it’s a difficulty I in Hs it will be relic/data/useless so in 1 cycle you know it’s a waste.

Its not the scanning them down thats the problem.

Its that they are thin on the ground, more so now that the Agency literally tells everyone where they are.

A lot repop every 15 minures or so.
You need to be fast scanning so that you can go from one gate to another, and acquire the information on each signature that was not removed yet from your probe scanner.

Being very fast is the key here.
I was able to do reliable 100M/h exploring in HS (as much as in NS) when I did.

I shall bear it in mind, thanks!

maybe it’s nto clear :

  1. create a nice route, if possible that does an overall cycle. eg if you look at http://evemaps.dotlan.net/map/Domain#sec you see there is a nice cycle going amarr, arum price, chessoh, (…) kohpa , (…) (a lot of waypoints) … amarr
  2. add the waypoints around your route.
  3. You need a program that sets your route from a bookmark folder ( I use one and it’s very handy… saved my wristle)
  4. you set your route, each system if you have more than one sig you go to sun 100km to scan, otherwise you should have the time to scan the sig when warping to next gate.
  5. if interesting you go to your closest ship cache and use the correct tool for the job. If not, bookmark the sig (in case you are disconnected) and ignore it from the probe window.
  6. once you’ve done your cycle, you can do it again. If it’s more than 20 jumps there should be new signature (assuming there are other people jumping in system). Empty systems without a visitor won’t get refilled as fast, from experience.

Why? Because they don’t make 10 bilions per hour? EVE is not a job. If we talk about mining. Make enough isk for exhumer in hisec won’t take many days. What else you need?
Take venture and ninja mine moons in lowsec = dank isk for new/alpha player etc.

No. Problem is that everyone is hunting for maximum isk possible and forget to play game.

My new player loves the fact its impossible to know everything, where the idea of every item being made by players still fills him with a sense of wonder.

I still get that when I open a can with an icon in Ive never seen before or rarely.

You need decent modules only for min/max what you do. But that’s not mandatory to be able to enjoy EVE.
I get your point and understand it. But in my opinion issue is not time needed to get things but people that want everything from day one.

ps. you can quote multiple times in one reply

Sounds about right to me

That’s roughly how much I make.

Now you can see why most people just end up bored/doing mining or running missions.

There isn’t much to do to be honest.

I’d love to do distribution missions full time, but they need a complete overhaul to make them more fun/interesting/more rewarding.

I love the idea of transporting goods in my transport ship across the cosmos.
