High sec should be.. more safe

Actually it is a lot less boring than Null.

And it was actually worthwhile and fun during the BO, however now prices are already plummeting, especially away from Jita.

Security status “1.0” means that this system is not one of such places. Talking RL such places would be like airports where you cannot even enter with guns and similar stuff.

Sorry Im not a role player.

Good. Then you accept that some RP ■■■■■■■■ about CONCORD is not a legitimate reason to oppose the CODE. If you want to mine in high sec, you better get a mining permit, or you are gonna get wrecked. That’s the ironclad law of nature.

Again, I am glad you enjoy RP but It means little to me.

More like an airport in Mogadishu, and the New Order are those guys with AK-47s standing around the tarmac checking your visa. Oh, you’ve been mining uranium and want to manufacture ammunition? Guess what pal, you need a mining permit.

You have missed “security status 1.0” in my post.

Friend, CODE is not a roleplay organization. We recognize that EVE is a game, in which players are free to ‘shoot’ one another, reducing the hitpoints of their ‘spaceship’ until it reaches zero and explodes. Many players of this game have established ‘territory’. For example, Goonswarm rents their territory in the Delve from James 315. James is also the owner of high-sec, and he expects all miners to purchase a permit, which grants them access to his personal realm.

This isn’t roleplaying, it’s simply reality. It’s like playing Monopoly and landing on Boardwalk. You want to visit Jita? It’s gonna cost you, because I just built a hotel in Perimeter.

If that is not RP. You need professional help before you hurt yourself and others.

I am not joking nor should anyone else, if you consider that factual, please google mental health and find help in your area.

No sir. You missed the fact that security status 1.0 is as good as it gets, and it’s about on par with Pyongyang, North Korea. Apparently you didn’t notice, but the galaxy isn’t exactly a friendly carebear amusement park. If you aren’t careful, someone is definitely gonna shoot you. We call that content.

Man, I bet you are a real blast at Wednesday night D&D.

Mental health is never a joking matter.

There ARE people who believe what happens in a game is real. I have no idea if this was your case or not.

Ignoring things like that is how people end up getting killed. The imaginary creature causing death does not matter be it god or be it a half elf. The deaths are real.

I actually enjoy AD&D, however I would never joke about believing it to be real.

Ok, so when I’m playing Monopoly, and I say that I have a hotel and you owe me money - I’m not roleplaying, I’m just playing the game. I don’t actually pretend to have a hotel, or believe that in reality you are visiting my hotel.

The same thing is true in EVE. If you are in high sec, you owe me money. You need to pay, or you are going to die. I don’t mean that you must pay in real life, or you will die in real life - I mean that I’m going to click a button on my keyboard, and watch an animated simulation of a spaceship exploding, which will then remove a spaceship item from your ingame inventory.

Of course, it’s what any goofus highsec miner wants, to CCP to interfere and put an end to suicide ganking, because any other solution for their problems would require some effort on their part, in terms of being at their keyboard, fitting and flying their ships properly and being present to their surroundings instead of being afk and letting an illegal program do their work for them.

Corporation bookmarks are a thing, and you’ve been able to copy bookmarks to the inventory (and thus contract them) for as long as I remember. Where’s the issue now?

Good grief, does EVE really have to get any easier? Answer: NO!

The real villains are not the guys sitting in Jita killing new players. The real villains are the carebears who lie to new players, and tell them they need to go to Jita, and they have a right to go to Jita, and nobody else has a right to claim territory in high sec.

If you were honest with new players, they might think twice before throwing all their crap into a t1 hauler and setting autopilot to Jita. Meanwhile, some of these helpful carebears even generously offer to contract their extra loot to a new player, with a modest collateral as insurance of course. Anything to help a new player, right?

Yes, they are typically highsec miners, who tend to send death threats to the people who destroyed their mining vessel in a noble effort of releasing them of burden of endless mining grind and the burn and saturation it will eventually cause. Looking forward to see your posts featured on the next entry on minerbumping.com!
