High skill point players are not progressing out of highsec

why is that such a surprise ? xD

not at all … entertainment can be a distraction from the stress you have every day.
i dont think eve is the best place for this

Because your writing skills and ability to convey information sucks?

That’s the whole point I was trying to make. If one is too distracted by entertainment, and not being productive, that’s a problem.

maybe i had a bad wording ? couldnt say but at my point it was ok xD

sometimes you only need some fun ! as a distraction from stress ! nothing else … no need to be productive 24/7

I agree.

I remember when the trig thing started some of our players wanted to try it out , now the doctrine at the time was go in with two battleships and kill the spawns as fast as you can . Not much fun after a couple of hours but isk efficient.

We decided as some players had low skills we would go in a fleet for thorax with logi support , 3 logistic cruises and 10 thorax and what fun it was , one site two guys in bs warped in and said well that looks more fun than we are having can we join you , they reshipped and joined in the fun .

It was a mad 3 hours with people coming and going and only lost one cruise when he got out of logi range .

The point ,isk efficiency can sometimes make the game very dull , also the cruisers we used had a more PvP fit so we finished the day hunting some pirate and loot thieves…

We don’t

Well I lie , we did fobs for a bit in amarr ,

They have in the past , come together to fight , several times, with the mass of the player base in high sec I’m sure you can find enough willi people to form a fleet or two if it’s organised.
We helped save a structure from a null group , the fleet was made up of mostly high sec and low sec groups , null sec lost that one .
Another time
Two large fraternity fleets turned up once trying to lord around caldari space , think the tried to help jita holdings fright black flag, it was a night for popcorn as concord kept killing the ones that don’t understand high sec.

What I love about this community is how we purge entitlement.

Then I wonder why they are even playing Eve…a game where stuff getting blown up is the mainstay of the entire economy. They seem to want it to always be someone else’s stuff that gets blown up to keep the economic cycle going…but never their own. It reminds me of those miners who quite happily mine the very ore that makes Catalysts, but who then gripe that they just want to mine in peace when those very Catalysts show up and blow them up.

Are you from Manitou Springs?

No, I was stationed at Fort Carson.

Pretty darn close those.

That area is gorgeous. Especially in the early mornings.

Who knows.

What I do I know is that the vast majority of the time when I talk to people in newbie corps, or even more experienced players, their main concern with PvP is losing the ships and earning the money to make them back.

I loved walking the streets there. So many nice shops.

Ya, that’s amazing too. Did you try a bit of water from each of the natural springs along the boardwalk?

You have a very limited perspective. Try thinking “outside of the box”.

Yes, but it’s been many years. You could see Pike’s Peak from my balcony. My first son was born at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado. Good times.
