Highsec Ganking Dead - Are you happy now?

You’re so cool bro

Its funny when this thread was made by anti-ganker and when all that is being discussed is current state.

But even if you post a gif of a cat, these peoples will still claim that you are crying

It makes sense tho. They were crying in some anti-ganking thread and they were told they are crying and whining. So now they are butthurt and tell that to their enemies at any opportunity they get. Unfortunately, they don’t understand the difference so their posts are just laughable. Or rather pitiful.

Don’t misquote me.

The highlighted part is what you deliberately missed off because you’re a troll.

Ganking is finally gone from Highsec, please let it be.

I am confused. Did you forget to switch forum alts?

Had 3 newbie alts pve’ing in null at the time, they loved it. Very disapointed it didn’t last, as null is safe and boring.

Yes I get that. I run multiplayer server myself and ever since I banned multiboxing and made it IP based, lot of players asking for exceptions because the share IP or play with brother etc.

Still, the end result of this nerf was that you can no longer gank at all from alpha clone. So they could just as well just ban or threathen (like they do to ppls who gank in protected systems) that it is a no-no and next time it will result in a ban.

Either way is it very easy to distinguish between real players and one player multiboxing even if the IP is the same. If they want it.

You also basically say with this that CCP won’t ban you if you multibox alphas against the rules. Speaking from own experiences?

lol its Aaaarrgg with perhaps a few !!! at the end, and its a long time since i shot a rookie ship they are not my prey, 5 seconds on zkill will show that. furthermore i never (or very rarely) sat on a tether.

tether or docking up was when rl got in the way of eve unexpectedly , now thanks to ccp i just have to deal with rl and write the ship off and come back to a new clone in station. no big loss its just all imaginary internet spaceships but still mah thrashers :(.

if only there was something that they could do to avoid being one of the three people ganked out of 10 thousand people not ganked that week, but effort .

not sure where you are going here, by defination the pvp crowd like pvp and that means fights

the problem here is that the gameplay removed was the one that kept down the toxic element, but now with ganking removed the carebears will expand and spread far and wide infecting more of eve with their toxicity.

You’re the Aaaarg that sits there at the landing point at Jita ? I’ve never quite understood why. The docking there from Sobaseki is pretty quick, and other gankers are too far away to assist.

We always enjoyed a Aaaarrgg hunt, word would get around that that he was doing his pipe run and we would try and intercept.

Now in reality it means nothing to him, he just sets off again in a new ship, we didn’t get any isk from it only one time some put a bounty on him. It doesn’t do much for your zkill, just a thrasher with gate gun help.

Some said what’s the point but that’s mostly from the isk per hour players who seem to factor out fun from eve play altogether in favour of isk efficiency. Hunting him was good fun and taught our pilots some good skills, scouting, preparing an ambush, getting the right ship ready.

All useful skills to make us better at catching other criminals.

Thanks Aaaarrgg hope to see you around

Seeing you red always means safe passage!

It’s not evolution. It’s catering to the lowest, most entitled population that seems to have infiltrated this game in mass. And used as a shield by some folks on the forums that enjoy to capitalize on their victimized mentality for their own self righteous virtue signaling.

No. That is another player. He is tornado ganking with cargo scanner from Sobaseki exactly because there are no other gankers. He is not scripting or lets say that his “setup” is not that fast so doing it there he can loot his victims without someone else stealing it. Obviously the traffic is lower there and so he often shoots just once per day. But it is probably the type of player who funds his other schenanigens with this so I guess it is worth it for him.

Plus someone has to cover other gates so it is not 100% safe.

@Aaaarrgg is a capsule ganker. He roams around highsec and killing capsules on autopilot.

For a ganker, the accent is on the 2nd syllable.

There will always be Ganking. You just need to be more selective in your targets and actually hunt for the dummies that carry a very high value. It will no longer be the isk faucet it once was.

Quite true, but that is one hell of a mouthfull, particularly for a 13 year old homicidal axe wielding maniac.

Uh, no.

I’m a 12 year old girl serving multiple consecutive life time sentences for blowing up pixilated space ships in a videogame.

I’m sure if I had used an axe, the sentence would have only been a couple of years with parole.

Ganking has never been an ISK faucet.

The insurance payout is an ISK faucet for the targets that lose ships, but gankers themselves don’t receive any insurance/

That aside, if as you say, gankers shift their focus towards more valuable targets, how is it no longer an ISK faucet for them? It would be more of one surely.

That also aside, gankers aren’t carebears. ISK isn’t necessarily their goal. There’s lots of other reasons they gank, but carebears don’t seem to think anything other than ISK is important. CCP don’t seem to understand this either.
