Who the h3ll is Hateless? What is clear is that both you and whoever this hateless guy is need therapy.

…and no I do not own an orca. If I did I would not mind losing it to my incompetence and the competence of others. My question was about the fit / circumstances / what to watch out for etc.

It has become obvious the only way to escape a death squad if you mine in an orca, is to choose a system that is big enough to allow you warp out (once local spikes) before the death squad lands. …Or a down a pipe sequence of systems so you see them coming a ways away.

…forgot … nice videos there.

Driving orca in high sec while being war dec’d is a well deserved death.

Not really. No player deserves death. Players are interested in different activities, and that is okay. Some just want to use a big ship to transport stuff, or extract raw resources from the environment. What I do gets in the way of that, exactly the same as when gankers do it. I unilaterally attacked that Orca, thereby griefing its pilot with an act of non-consensual PvP. In fact I’ve killed a few Orcas, and ransomed a couple more, plus countless other unarmed haulers and other industrial ships. Sometimes these pilots got very upset, and got into verbal confrontations with me, saying things to me that are against the game’s rules. I incited these responses by attacking and destroying their ships, so they would’ve never acted this way had I not performed my hostile actions. So in fact I am doubly guilty of griefing players not just because I destroy their prized assets without their consent, but because I entrap them too.

What I don’t understand is why Githany Red and her crew don’t do anything about players like me, despite the fact that their mission statement is to interfere with and punish all belligerent undesirables who engage in malicious grief-play against peaceful players. For some reason they only go after gankers, even though what I do causes as much grief as ganking does.

Now that’s a phrase I haven’t seen for a while.

Youi have not been paying attention, two ways of escaping have been explained, aligning or tripple webbing for insta warp. If you refuse to do any of the above, you not going anywhere without the cloak mwd trick (<10 secs) as takes forever (37 seconds) to align an Orca from a standstill, longer than a freighter.

A third way to avoid being ganked is to pay the gankers enough money that they would rather not gank you, because they want to continue getting isk from you. This works, because people want money, so you can pay them to go gank someone else. If you want to pay me, to not gank you, then send me isk today and I will show mercy unto you.

Three ways actually, use a needlejack filament, like what I said before

Four ways, really: You can always play another game.

Five ways, to be fair. You could leave the Orca tethered to a station (note that mining opportunities may be reduced using this method)

We all know that the 3rd way is ineffective, they gank you anyway, so I’ll replace the 3rd way with our free protection service, which has a very good chance of an orca save

Don’t believe the liar Githany Red.

Githany couldn’t save a Venture, and sure can’t save an Orca.

i feel like stealing from @Zaera_Keena but the guy is just to good
