Without high sec ganking, high sec wouldn’t be profitable for actual players, and would be completely under the grip of bots, since only bots could generate a marginable income in a field of indefinite competition (indefinite since they can’t be killed).
You should be glad ganking exists if you live in High Sec, the economy depends on it.
That is why people who complain about ganking are titled “Bot Aspirants,” because that is what they seek with the removal of ganking (or making a gank generally impracticable). They seek to colonize HighSec with bots, and do war against each other with illegal coding (to out perform other bots and out-evade others in being banned), rather than with in-game weaponry.

I get ganked from time to time. But I haven’t ganked myself in a years. Overall, I’ve learned how to travel safely in high/low and null (low sec always being the most dangerous).
Furthermore, the High Sec economy affects the economy of Null Sec far than Null affects High. So even though I mostly play in null sec, it the High Sec Gankers that I have to thank for the stability of the Null Sec economy.
If is your failure to see the dynamic and symbiotic nature of EvE Online, from Jita to the edge of the Galaxy in -1.0 systems (and wormholes) that makes you unqualified to call for such changes. The removal of ganking in High Sec destroys us all, even in wormholes.
EDIT: And of course, I bought a Mining Permit in 2022, followed the rules, and haven’t been ganked since.
It’s so important to set a good example, Saladinae.
I’m sometimes disparaged in Local, but I sport my Permit with pride:

No don’t fit them just kit all the components together. Don’t do that work for her.

Using tier 2 is not cost effective for ganks, since it greatly increases the ship cost for a non-linear gain in performance. Also, just a pinch of faction ammo (enough to last til concord), bring them near to tier 2 void, while not saccing the range.
