How to autopilot?

Hi everyones.

My current location was invaded by the Trig anomalies a few years back. I need to get back to high sec.

I have my destination set which is a station in high sec.

The route path indicates I’m about 9 jumps away, and the Selected Item window to my right shows items to which I can warp, but my path is not being displayed in that Selected Item widow.

I have autopilot activated but my ship doesn’t move.

How can I:

  1. get that Selected Item window to color code which gate I need to warp to, and

  2. how can I get my ship to move?

Thanks in advances.

purchase an extraction filament off the market, or find a wormhole back to known space.

I’m surprised your route path even gives you an indication of 9 jumps to a HS station.

Because if you’re now within Pochven there is no way out of it through regular gates. That region is a triangle:

To get out of Pochven you simply buy and use an outbound Pochven filament like:

which sends you to a random Triglavian-invaded HS or LS system, or another filament like:

which sends you to a nearby non-Pochven system that is within a few lightyears of your current system.

Either of them gets you out of Pochven into the regular part of the universe from where you can set a route through gates.

You could also scan for a wormhole out, there usually are wormhole connections to the nearby non-Pochven systems, but a filament is probably easier. Some of them should be for sale in your station.

To use a filament I suggest you do so on a safe spot, so first warp to a planet and drop a bookmark while in warp, then warp back to the bookmark and you’ll be reasonably safe. It takes some time for the filament to get started after activation, you don’t want other (hostile) players to get to you in that time.

Good luck!

if you came back to the game recently and found all your stuff suddenly in Triglavian Space, you can write a support ticket and a GM might transfer your items to a Station in HS.

Be aware that this is a one-time-offer for returning players and you are not allowed to abuse it in any way (for example to bring items out to HS that you aquired AFTER the Triglavian Invasion).

Just to expand on what @Syzygium posted…

The one time move is for your character in a single ship filled with everything it can carry, anything else in your item and ship hangars should be sold or freighted out prior to that one time move…

There was a Courier service available in-game that specialized in moving freight through Low and Null Sec space called Black Frog Logistics which also had a High Sec division called Red Frog… I don’t know if they’re still active in-game but definitely something to check out…

Maybe that system is an old HS system, but currently Triglavian 9j out. It shouldn’t even be possible to set a destination to HS from Pochven, should say something like ‘‘not possible to set that waypoint’’.

It is also possible, that he is not in fact in Pochven, but in one of the Trig minor victory systems or whatever they’re called in empire space currently. In that case it’s no issue, but I wouldn’t exactly autopilot it, especially 9 jumps.

In any case, on the top left of your screen it shows the name of the system and constellation and region. That will help you determine where you are. To be sure you have a gate-to-gate route I would set destination to something you’re sure is still high sec, like Jita or Dodixie. If you’re in Pochven, you can’t set those as your destination.

The Route section on the left, while I’m in station, indicates the number of jumps away from my intended destination. However, when I undock, the Route section turns to “+” only. And I can’t click on it. Plus, while undocked, the Overview window doesn’t show a highlighted gate. I see gates, but those could lead anywhere.

When I populate the Personal Asset window, my destination station is listed with the words “No gate to gate route” So yea, I am stuck here unless I seek support from moving services like others suggested.

Thanks for the suggestions. I can’t fly my way out of here alone. Not going to risk it.

Sounds like you are in Pochven indeed.

You can confirm that for yourself by checking if your current system (seen top left above the route) is one of the names in the map I linked above.

The Triglavians invaded high security and low security systems a few years ago, attacked many systems and managed to offline the old gates in 27 of them where they set up new gates to turn it into their own region of Pochven.

It’s a part of space without CONCORD, without gate guns, without local chat to show how many players are in space with you.

In other words dangerous.

You could get your ship out the way I said above, but as others suggested you can also make a ticket to support (F12).

Support can help you get one ship back to HS space for returning players, as far as I know.

It looks like the community got you sorted in the responses here, but I just want to drop an obligatory “NEVER EVER use autopilot when hauling anything, even in high sec. Always warp to gates at 0km” because using autopilot with a hold full of loot is the #1 way to get ganked. The only time I ever use autopilot is when I am traveling through high sec in a shuttle afk for a bio break, and I have even came back to the PC to find my shuttle had been ganked, and a note in my mailbox from the gankers saying “never use autopilot” LMAO. So, never use autopilot unless you really don’t mind losing whatever you are flying.
