Including “innocent” players am I correct?
as for the l3 and below that was refering to non fleet.

“Minor” I mean… stealing turns you to a “suspect” which means others can shoot you, why would concord allow that if it was such a minor thing? I think its why does concord allow players to shoot each other in that case but not others.. then again they allow pirates to harass you too..
As for the Security response you gave… hmm neat.. i think thats to low because thats what -.01 per action? so you can commit 500+ crimes? Boy we live in a very friendly space lol
Lol no. Its more like 1.0 to 2.0 per action. Lkke podding someome in hisec can cost you almost 2.0 sec status standings.
then Jon in Jita must farm alot of security cause i’ve seen them merk people all day long and are just sitting at -2.3 .. Also they have another ship looting the wrecks they blow up and the other person does NOT go suspect or anything…
I will say if boosting does give suspect.. they are fast to disable it cause they instantlock and blast ships so fast.
But hey apparently you suspect if you boost / loot innocent player wrecks
That’s not a problem… op is asserting the wreck of a ganked target doesn’t suspect flag a fleet member of the ganker when looted. Using fleet mechanics to get around intended game design is an exploit.
The general fleet looting mechanic doesn’t need to change to put an auto flag on a wreck that was killed through a suicide gank.
imo, this probably counts as a “little thing” that could be fixed relatively quickly.
I think Jon in Jita might be using Wardecs or some other mechanic and is thus not ganking.
If you shoot a legitimate war target you do not get any sec status changes and the wreck is blue meaning corp/alliance mates can loot it without suspect status, and that matches your description.
So he’s not shooting innocents after all.
No, I know who it is. They are blasting innocent haulers then being concorded quickly after.
3 ship operation.
Ship 1 - Targets and shoots high value cargo carriers
Ship 2- Boosts them for quicker targetting (Then loots them if they are concorded)
Ship 3 - Loots the cargo carrier that was blown up with no consequence (due to being in a fleet with them and any target they killed is instantly consider non suspect loot)
he had like -2.3 security then left came back like 20 minutes later with .2 security soo yeah.. I’ve watched it happen more than once.
Sold some security tags to CONCORD then.
All FC needs to do is allow Alphas to multibox. I’ll don my asbestos suit now… ![]()
It would mean no one would be paying for the game anymore and just field vast alpha fleets.
But maybe there is a possibility in between like “pay a small fee to have one additional Alpha online at the same time with your Omega”…like 5$ or something, so that FC would still make some money from it.
Still many other problems would arise. Nullsec blocks would just crash out all the nodes they wanted if they could field relatively unlimited pilot numbers.
I wasn’t serious… Alphas have created as many problems as they’ve solved.
soo security is useless mechanic.. why have it if its that easy to get rid of?
They added tags when they added dust.
I think useless is a bit much, it does cost quite a few millions to tag up.
Would it be better if it was more expensive? Or do you want it to take longer? Or something else?
Make it actually be useful. Oh no you gank a gate for 3 hours… spent 1-2% of what you earned from ganking… back to respective security.
Its legal for a fee… and a cheap fee.
RIP =(
No red safety in high-sec for 3 months (90 days). Have FC promote it and monitor average player numbers for any changes.
So make it more expensive?
So ganking becomes a playstyle only available to rich players?
It’s a thought…
Support for 1, 2 should get suspect, others are really not that big of a issue other than annoyance. Let’s not forget that EVE is not supposed to be a friendly game, it is space sci fi RPG where weak fall. If you are stupid enough to fall a scam, you do not belong here.
In my opinion the “Newbie Zone” should be removed and high sec should be made more dangerous. After all, we want more war, politics, power grabbing, space drama, not peace. Of course, the underlining issues of current safety and weakness goes far beyond New Player Experience that needs to be addressed and fixed.
This is coming from a man who started with just a starter ship and no tutorial whatsover back in ~2004. And that experience is precisely what made me come back to it.
Quality > Quantity
and the players that started in 2020 and up, isn’t the same that started 20 yrs ago… FC has to adapt to the new players.. all companies have to adapt to those who will play their games.
