How to fix the Lack of New Players

In my opinion the “Newbie Zone” should be removed and high sec should be made more dangerous. After all, we want more war, politics, power grabbing, space drama, not peace. Of course, the underlining issues of current safety and weakness goes far beyond New Player Experience that needs to be addressed and fixed.

Ok.. I am curious what you feel is the address that needs to be fixed for new players?

I grew up with UItima Online, you could have everything stolen from you even in the “safe zones”

As for your comment if dumb to be scammed.. people have to dael with scammers and spammers IRL why not just move it to it’s own chat, if you are dumb enough to open up hypernet or contract chat than well good luck.

oooh another antiganking thread I totally missed it in the spam of antiganking threads lately…

So lets see.

1. I can see how could it be abused to AWOX, but not very abusable since it requires infiltrating corp and gainging their trust and then all you can do with that it CONCORD another ship with you. I say we will see this ganking nerf in near future.
2. I don’t think you know how ganking works. Which doesn’t surprise me at all, every single antiganker posting their great ideas how to nerf ganking even further never tried it himself, never tried it from the other side and is clearly biased. No, gankers do not get loot rights. They already have to risk their ships to loot it.
3. That won’t change much, I mean I do steal the loot from low tier missions if I scan down MTU and start bashing it and owner leaves, but if they asked me to get that important mission item back I would sell it to them. They never do, or they send me to hell (nicely said) when I say it won’t be free and rather take massive penalty than paying few milions to the robber lol. Antigankers mindset in nutshell.I don’t think this is technically doable though.
4. Already is forbbidden and GMs are supposed to punished the offenders.
5. idc, blocked it by chat filter
6. We do care about seciroty status very much. And no nerf to the penalty for ganking will change what you see. Even if each gank gets us to -10 we will still be there every day.

I don’t know about lack of new players, but I think the playerbase could benefit with a nerf to Alphas (capped at cruisers), capping Omegas at battleships and introducing a new type of subscription (call it “zeta”, all ships - and give it 3-4x skill training speed).
