How to Retain Players in EVE

That is one reason among many why I love this game. Want to know something. Dig for it.

None of the options will do anything for player retention. The correct answer is unironically walking in stations. Players need a place to hang out and socialize with their characters in MMO’s. Having physical corp offices, public station areas to visit, and player housing to customize would do so much for this game and I lot of players would stick around for it. WoW and FF14 prove this.

Why is that confusing? you can jump gates with other timers

And when they dock you can freely warp away, there are things you can do given there will still be session timers, if you’re dumb enough to accept a duel on the jita undock then you kind of deserve it

They technically can’t, the weapons timer will prevent it for a minute, but again, suspect/criminal flags do not prevent you from docking anywhere or taking gates so its consistent

Its a bit annoying but only one of those is a problem to new players and there is a warning when you enter a trig or edencom system, the only issue is the random roaming fleets but thats a learning experience

Which is something you have to cause yourself by engaging them

It seems like you have issues with people experiencing something to learn from it, you know, like human beings do, they aren’t born knowing everything and you will, for the most part, learn from your life experiences

Were you not around when the escrow system existed?

Agreed. No more walled gardens on third-party apps.

Why are you here then? Why do you waste your time in a forum of a game you do not play?

Additional Forum Warriors even in players from different games are welcome. The more the merrier.. To think of it. This site is a different version of WOW [War on Words]

I still want to know why they are here. If they hate EVE so much, I want to hear why.

Good Question.
It’s also a great question most of us-Angry Capsuleers may answer.

What players are CCP looking for? The ones who lose ships and pay with a CC. Not the bitter old vets who pay by the yr, have experience and don’t lose much. Chump change compared to what entitled players will spend during their short stay.

Null pays the bills so what they say goes.

In Short. CCP needs more dumb whales { In the context of gaming, a “whale” refers to a player who spends a large amount of money on in-game purchases or virtual goods].

While dumb whales fuel the game, where does that bring the game?

PTW doesn’t seem to work for most new players or is that your point?

My point is that CCP Needs large Profit for the game to continue existing.

The game was trolling along fine at 50k and growing. Must have been all null blks.

That’s why Null receives most of Expansion incentives.

I flew with null twice and both times, it just left a bad taste in my mouth. Sorry null blks, but you just made the most challenging targets in the past.
