So, i’m confused did they say or not that it’s an exploit or working as intended? If neither probably best to wait for an official response then.
Wanda, we petitioned in late January, updated with all the information as to what was going on, and in late February the petition was closed by a GM without comment. Another petition by an unrelated corp got a generic “thank you for the info, your petition is closed” response.
CCP has still been dead silent on what is going on with this. Half the thread tells us “you’re posting about an exploit and will be banned” and half the thread says “you’re noobs and it’s not an exploit, deal with it.”
Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t, but CCP refuses to put a voice to it, so we are making it as public as possible. I want to see everyone use this mechanic, I want this to become the new meta, I want mining orcas to just get insta-dec’d out of nowhere until CCP is forced to speak up publicly.

Look man, a lot of us lived in null for years, I get that null is there. I encourage everyone who wants to experience null or even try it out to go. We don’t make it a secret that we are a highsec corp. A lot of our players are people who don’t get on very often, I am an FC but can only log in on weekends, it’s meant to be a large, loose, casual corp. We have a highsec HQ next to Amamake, LXQ, and KBP, its good stuff.
We read CCP’s documentation, and the corp is organized as non-eligible based on the information held out to us by CCP, and that’s the same information we provided to our members.
If any member is meant to be able to flag the corp war eligible, if the 24 hour countdown is meant to be easily bypassed and wars instantly activated, we just want CCP to step down from Olympus and say “yes it is working as intended” or “no it’s not, we are working on a fix.”
If that is the case, we will likely adapt, but we need to know first. Surely that is not too much to ask.

You’re right. Your CEO proudly declares to everyone who will listen that you are highsec farmers, that you need buffs to farming income, and that PvP in highsec should be removed. And that is why your corp is being destroyed.

Regardless of any of that, it is contrary to what CCP have said that a corp member without roles can deploy structures. That’s the “Exploit” part of this.
There is no vetting procedure that can stop this.

Nonsense. There is no vetting procedure that can stop this while simultaneously allowing mass recruitment of everyone who wants to join and contribute the corp tax to the CEO’s personal wallet. There are absolutely vetting procedures that can prevent this if remaining protected from wars is your top priority.
I agree though that the documentation is kind of misleading and should probably be changed to reflect this feature.

No, the corp is being farmed because people like you farm new players. We were not the first people to get hit with this exploit, SEADC and CONOCO and other corps did as well, and have also petitioned on the rus side of things and got the same null-response.
There is always some excuse, “I farm new players because their CEO is mean” or “I farm new players because they should go to nullsec instead” or “I farm new players because I think they should play differently” but in the end its just cause you can.
And again, i’m not asking you to change the way you play, our roams gank single targets as often as we take fights. I am only asking for clarification from CCP as to whether the current war system is working as intended.

Yes, it is 100% a coincidence that one of the most hated people on the forums got his corp hit with a war dec as soon as people figured out a way to do it…
PS: at any time you can stop being farmed, but that would require your leadership to actually be leaders and not flee to other games at the first sign of adversity.

The corp tax doesn’t go to the CEO’s personal wallet and if you want verification of that, you should put an alt in, because we do open recruit, and request a log of the corp income. It’s not secret, and a 4% tax on a bunch of mostly low lvl missions doesn’t exactly make an absurd amount.
If the corp was so evil and so bad, people would just leave. We live in highsec, 6 jumps out of Dodixie, and we won’t hesitate to be a reference to whatever corp members choose to move on to. And it’s not like we don’t clear our inactive roster constantly. If we have 1000 members on the list, it’s because 1000 people want to fly with us.

We asked CCP by petitioning, they simply closed the petitions and provided no answer. We can only assume that for the moment, this is not a declared exploit, so we want to make sure that every corp that wants some easy kills in their neighborhood is using it.
I want this totally fair non-exploit to be used generally, not just against us.

CCP cannot even fix the sun glare. The code fix for deploying POCO gantries is probably a nightmare.

We may be the most hated corp in highsec, and we expect people to come after us. But we also expect that the mechanics held out to players on the website will be reflective of the mechanics actually at play in game.
If that is not the case, CCP should step forward and say “the website mechanics are outdated, the current mechanics are working as intended” or “the current mechanics are not intended, we are working on a fix.”
I understand Eve is a byzantine game and a fix may take time, we are not asking for instant action, but we are asking for at least a response.

There is no exploit. Your corp is riddled with spies, because of incompetent leadership, and those spies are using legitimate game mechanics to get your corp into wars. That’s how incompetent your leadership is, with all the highsec wardec nerfs, you guys still can’t get it right. Three of my alts confirm that the corporation leadership is terrible.
CCP will not respond, because it is not their place to inform you that your corporate leadership is completely and totally inept. It’s up to other players to let you know what’s going, and I hope you appreciate hearing the truth.
This is what you get, and deserve, for making such a carebear blob. I personally traveled all the way to Audaerne to warn you guys, but you laughed and didn’t listen.
I suggest you disband.
