How To Wardec Non-War-Eligible Corps

LMAO, I have had time to digest this thread…

Personally i agree with many on the forums…

Naari/Sabus Naarian should of took a clue and went ahead to STFU mode.
SiCo is being targeted and its corps whether or not they are still in its Alliance for this very reason, and for reasons where spies have provided screenshots of internal Mails, Wallet transactions and the like in other threads of Sabus exploiting Newbros.

In My opinion, considering that your CEO has abandoned ICANP and run away from EvE…
You all should just drop corp, create new one and inform Sabus to go get bent and put him all his known alts on a black list.

In all the history of EvE, the tactic of destroying corps/alliances because of bad leadership, exploting newbros, and being very stupid on the forums has always been a thing.
ICANP deserves this in my opinion if they can not or unwilling to get rid of Sabus.

@Aiko_Danuja your comment above i can not disagree with, and it made me smile so you get a like.

Aiko, CCP’s own website and documentation say that the corp can reject all structure transfers and remove all structures, and thus be not-eligible unless a character with roles anchors a structure. It also states that a wardec has a 24 hour warmup period before beginning.

In this case, there is no 24 hour warmup period, and characters without roles are anchoring corp structures. This is counter to CCP’s documentation, and we are only asking that CCP respond and tell us if this is an intentional change or a bug/exploit that is on the list to be fixed.

Prior to this mechanic, we were not riddled with ‘spies’ because we had open recruitment, we intentionally allowed and encouraged people with alts/mains in other corps to join and participate with us.

If CCP steps off the mountain and says ‘no, these mechanics are legit, the documentation will change to reflect them’ then of course we will institute much harsher corp policies or re-think if a casual open corp like this is possible.

We just ask that CCP respond to us.

CCP is too busy developing a game for people who enjoy PvP.

If you are not happy, you should uninstall. It is absolutely disgusting to try and make a blob of highsec carebears who just want free AFK isk. Corporations such as this are bad for the game, and I’m sure CCP is thrilled to see that the protectors of highsec are taking corrective action to address this issue.

You do not need a 24 warmup period, as you already know what is happening, and you have had ample time to prepare for the war.

You know everyone…
When CCP Ytterbim introduced with CCP Seagull the idea of Upwell structures.

Astrahus with Market hubs in them were supposed to replace POCO’s

SO maybe the energy for getting this so-called exploit labelled an exploit might instead be pushed into that direction…get rid of POCO’s all together in favor of Upwell structures around planets…just a thought.

I understand you don’t like our Corp, and you can target us if that is what you want to spend your time doing. We are not asking people to stop shooting us, we are simply asking for clarification on the current mechanics.

If CCP says that their documentation is in error and any member is meant to be able to flag a corp eligible, and the countdown to wardec is meant to be bypassed, then we will adapt accordingly.

But for ICANP, and SEADC, and Conoco, and Banderlogs, and all the other corps impacted by this mechanic, we want CCP to respond. The purpose of this thread is to make the mechanic’s details available to everyone so that its use reaches the critical mass to get CCPs attention where the corp petitions do not.

Good!

I hope ‘incompetent and proud’ corp is destroyed so much the genuine new players realize they’ve been had and leave your scummy spam-our-recruitment-crap all-over corp. A legit corp doesn’t spam - and especially from different characters made for that purpose so they can’t be blocked. icanp shows they are scum just for doing that.

Brigading your corp to bombard ccp with petitions right when they have a huge pile to get through already from the recent DDoS is a really crap selfish move that just gums the petition que up for everybody.
(h/t @Bernie_Nator for image)

I’ve come to expect as little from your illustrious ceo, but you “officer” and FC should know better and be ashamed of this crap.

The actual new players you “leadership” are teaching to be whingy victim-mentality criers rather than adapt-to-circumstances are the guaranteed exploit involved here.

Of course you were riddled with spies. People regularly posted spy information in your CEO’s threads, because it’s great comedy to watch him spamming corp chat with “EVERYONE POST IN MY WHINE THREAD TO DEMAND MORE FARMING ISK”. You just didn’t know you had spies because your leadership was too incompetent to care about the threat until you got into a war. And now you have a corp full of people who want to destroy it, no concept of how to get out of the mess you’re in, and a CEO who has quit because actual leadership is too difficult for him.

My friend, adapting to circumstances as they come up from gameplay makes sense, and is understandable. But adapting to circumstances because the game developers have represented the mechanics to be A but they are in fact B is just subsidizing ineptitude.

We will continue to make this mechanic publicly known until such time as CCP responds.

Why wait?

Not responding IS a response.

you are wrong…
Your corp is most likely fine…without Sabus.
Ive had the opportunity meet some ICANP pilots, and they are not so bad and open to suggestion and training that seemed they were not provided with already.

However, I despise your CEO.
And if i had the time for it…would already have been involved as well at taking your group apart by Dec and ganks.

So you’d rather watch your corp die because you refuse to acknowledge reality? Works for me, EVE will be a much better game once the cancer of ICANP is removed from it.

this btw OP, is what we tend to call CareBearism

No Merin, I mean we didn’t have spies because we knew we were recruiting people from other corps/alliances. Messages are sent to corp mail, but we don’t care if they stay private, and don’t particularly intend that they do. You didn’t get the ‘scoop’ by screenshotting with an alt, you literally could just apply with any character, that is the model we built the corp on.

If CCP comes back and says “no these mechanics are legitimate, the 24 hour countdown and structure reject checkbox is an old mechanic” then naturally we will change our setup. But just closing the petition after a month of no response and making no statement isn’t fair. And even if you think it is no more than we deserve for our open-corp sins, it isn’t fair to the other corps similarly impacted and similarly denied a response.

The petition was closed. THAT IS YOUR RESPONSE.

Really, explain a realistic vetting procedure that isn’t ‘Only allow RL friends’ to stop someone doing this, given it requires NO roles.

Maybe using SeAt or a version of it anyway?

From my understanding it could be used to know location of said gantries and who is dropping them?

I wish it were so easy. But at the risk of over-stepping forum rules which prohibit the discussion of specific responses, when our members have petitioned for ship losses, the responses have been wildly different. Some say declined, not an exploit. Some say approved, its an exploit being looked into, some just get closed with no comment. Our petition on the exploit got silent closed, but a Russian corp got a message that they were looking into the situation, and one of our wartargets said they were told its working as intended (although I take that with a grain of salt).

The fact is, we have been left in the dark, and it feels like CCP is just unwilling to step forward and answer.
