I ❤️️ Eve but it’s time to move on

Friends, “family”, a feeling of connection.

Your post says a lot about you.

When you play and are social, the people/pilots you see in EVE, even if you never fleet together, notice you. They also notice your absence.

A few years back a pilot, in game, several of us knew, one day simply stopped logging in. He had a structure. He played as a pirate. He flew alone for the most part, but he was in chat channels. He socialized with us.

It wasn’t long before people started asking about his absence. His structure went to low power. We tried, to no avail, to find someone with access to fuel it for him, since we didn’t know if he was sick or had been in an accident. Eventually the structure was blown up.

But the point is…he never logged back in…so far as we knew/know.

We’ve never known if he quit, if he got sick, died. He was just gone and our little circle of friends was diminished, and we never knew why.

I realize many reading this will, as was posted earlier, cite “drama queen” but for everyone in the future who knew Celeru who wonders “why” they haven’t seen him around, and thinks to search the forum, will at least have an answer as to what happened…unlike my friends and myself and our missing pirate friend, who to this day several years later is still asked about, “did so and so ever log back in?”

Thank you for not being one of the heartless, friendless assholes like Nikalath.
