If you can’t afford $15 a month for an EVE subscription, there are probably other things you need to be doing than playing an online game anyway…
The OP smells like bait to me.
That fit tho
I think the other aspect of the game you don’t agree with is, “ask for help/advice”.
That fit, while not the worst I have seen… is fairly close to it. You lost that fight before even getting on grid.
IF… for some reason your still around… or return… there are many good fits for the Vexor that an Alpha can quite effectively fly that can kill “pay to win” setups. But you are going to have to “ask for help/advice” instead of rage.
Catching a pod is hard if the player in the pod knows what he is doing. Thus we have to conclude you don’t know what you are doing.
[Hint: as your ship is about to explode switch to your escape overview (you have an escape overview tab right?) and spam warp to anything on your overview off grid or far enough away that you can warp to.]
“The only way to win is to deny it battle.”
Godspeed, capsuleer.
Actually its not a bad idea. This game doesnt have a future anymore. Look what they have done to Valkyrie and Sparc, and those games are fresh from them. Maintenance mode. DUST had a superb running time in comparison, and lots of updates.
Now only EVE stays, the only game that they were not able to kill yet. But it was made initially with completely other management, so may be that its just that…
Maybe but he has lost ships so quite a bit of effort for a troll.
Actually that you went back to try to get revenge means that the game could be for you, however, you just needed to get better at it…
And I won’t say anything about he fit, because as a new player you really are likely to not really have understood enough of the game to fit anything properly and having a dig about it as some people have is just them trying to make themselves feel good about themselves.
Wish you all the best and +1 for giving it a go, most people would not have the guts to go in low sec and even fewer would try to go back and blow up those that blew them up, respect mate!
PS The like is that you went back to get revenge…
Bahaha
Not sure if serious…
First, subscribing to a game doesn’t make it “pay to win”.
Second, LOL at that fit. He would have wiped to floor with you if he had T1 Hobgoblins. There’s also a 10 second delay for a Vexor after decloaking before he can lock you, so your timeline is BS.
Third, bye bye. I’d ask if I could have your stuff, but I’m sure it wouldn’t be worth my time to go pick it up.
Don’t be a ■■■■.
You need to watch some of the PUB runs that Preacher does in WoW. There are people who have played that game for years that literally have no idea what to do because the game doesn’t teach you a damn thing. EVE online is slightly better than it used to be but even the other day I had to look something up on EVE uni because the game itself doesn’t tell you what to do. IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR A FOURTEEN YEAR OLD GAME not to have the documentation to explain how it works.
Vengeance is more satisfying when exacted some time after the harm that instigated it.
Triana, welcome to the wonderful world of EvE Online. You casually bandy about the terms “pay to win” in reference to players who have Omega status, while you yourself are an Alpha.
Once upon a time, players like yourself who were casually interested in playing EvE would also have been a paying player… paying to win as you say. Many of the “bittervets” consider Alpha pilots to be a scourge on EvE, while I might say that you’ve been privileged to join the community for whatever length of time you’ve been with us. You see, while you haven’t invested in the game financially, as your Omega comrades have, you became emotionally invested enough to seek retribution for the loss of your Venture. You have the correct mindset to succeed in EvE online, though you certainly will have what may feel like painful lessons to learn yet; many of us have been through similar experiences, and are still here.
My suggestion… pay to win as you put it, go Omega, learn more about this dangerous, thrilling universe, and avenge your losses, or join your killers and learn from them. Then kill them of course.
Wait… a cloaking device is “pay to win”? I’ve got one a virtually every ship. I’m a real bastard… I guess?
Subscribing is p2w? oh… There sure have been a lot of blingy ships lost in the history of eve that should have won easily if spending real money on ships was a guaranteed win.
Like that Chremoas that died to a beam-fit Algos recently lol
Well there a few things going on there. A cloaked vexor cant lock for like 5 deconds or so? You could have run from that guy. And sounds like you were outnumbered. Eve is a numbers game and number compensate for alot. I supposed its even possible to even defend a structure in eve with an Ibis fleet. Just get 6000 in sytems and tidi sets in…
If you insured your ships as well that would really helps offset the isk cost of losses. Eve is a game of loss often yours sometimes theirs.
Indeed and when you have a loss, try to learn from it and do better the next time.
This has to be sarcasm. Please tell me this is sarcasm. I will burn Jita if this is not sarcasm.
