I have been elevated into new heights

If this is true then they would have found a way to be even more awful. Anyone who would even think to offer that monster employment deserves to burn in hell alongside him.

Maybe I should get you a dictionary for your birthday? Not only is that nothing to do with the word but it’s not on you to declare it.

Good day admiral.

“For whosoever shall lay his life down for his Lord
He shall be taken into the arms of God
And forever consecrated will he be
But whosoever shall turn from the light
And run in fear
The Lord shall abandon him
And forever forsaken will he be”
- The Scriptures, Amarr Askura 2:3

Since you have insisted on feigning ignorance of the claims, I will remind you here. I will paraphrase for brevity. ((This was an OOC message with strict instructions that it contained the IC message, but not the prose))
Cardinal Graelyn openly admitted that you were hiring “despicable but deniable pirates” and “people we would hate even more, if possible”. He said that there was no better metaphor for your intentions than trying to use Nauplius through whatever terrible methods may exist. That you believed the strength of the Faithful is woefully inadequate.

On the topic of being threatened with public announcement that you attempted to hire Sansha, you admitted outright to me that while the details in the message posted may have been inaccurate, you un-apologetically used promises to try and engage the services of Sansha loyalists.

It is NOT up to me to decide what is heresy. It is certainly up to me to not stand idly by while you try to pass heresy off as anything but.

You have without a shadow of a doubt, turned away from the light. You have run in fear. You feared that relying on the strength of the faithful was not enough. You sought solace in the perceived strength of known heretics. I tried to offer personal counsel on the matter, yet you would not waiver on your path.

Reflect on your actions, Lord Crases. Only you can correct your path before it is too late. Perhaps it already is. I was clearly unable to show you the light, but I won’t let you veil the truth here in the hopes of misleading more faithful.

Admiral Ascentior,
hon. Fabricator-General of the Imperial Navy,
Paladin Commander of the Excubitoris Chapter of the Sacred Throne Order

((Sorry this is OOC, clarifying an OOC conversation to collaborate roleplay that isn’t happening clearly.))

And if and when that is a crime for me to do please cite the law in the Kingdom or Concord. Till then you can only not like it and demand I keep my people of questionable repute out of dinner parties.

Grumble about it if you must, bar me from your little events if you will I’m a big man I can accept that but don’t claim to have the ability to speak as if you are the council, the heirs, or the throne. You are a privateer corporation paid by the empire to enforce. You can have your opinion but I’ll thank you very kindly to recognize that as it is.

I’m glad we agree.

Heracy is, for instance, corrupting or subverting the faith. I’m just hiring some rough dudes as Val would put it to get a job done. I’m not advocating a single character in scripture be altered nor questioning the authority of the Amarr in question. I hold those things sacred and I wish all the faithful well.

I haven’t stopped following the faith what I have done is opened my options to turn the weapons of the faiths enemies on themselves. Find it distasteful if you must but its a strategy, not a dogma.

No, I stopped counting on admirals to think small fleets of very specific ships can solve all problems.

I haven’t privately spoken in depth to anyone save Admiral Gaven since I retook command of AM and publicly only to everyone else. You have not sent me a letter and I’ve confirmed with my logs we haven’t spoken. I already take enough from people what I do, please do not claim we have spoken as if we have.

If we have spoken I’d have told you I took counsel with people of the faith I trust sound boarding my thoughts.

I have indulged in three campaigns with great success aimed at defending those who ask and holding others accountable. I do not publish them here due to the endless gossip it would cause to no good end. As such I have little to no intention to publicize my actions just so your paladins have something to gossip about instead of making their patrol rounds.

In time I’d have hoped you’d see the value. Maybe someday you will but I hold no hope for it.
Perhaps you should take it as a sign of the times. 10 year veteran of the Amarr faith has to resort to unconventional methods because the Wardens of Providence or the Paladins of PIE either can’t manage their space according to the faith they proclaim or field a fleet to hold imperial space respectively.

Maybe Samaria would still be the paragon you held her too, Maybe Thebeka would have played out differently. Maybe we (the faithful as a whole) could have saved the Empress from Drifters or stopped any number of crisis.

I know this, SEFRIM is carrying you. Our enemies are laughing and innocent people clusterwide die every day that you could save but don’t or won’t.

I’m incompetent? I’d rather be a failure for trying then a cold and aloft for not bothering.

I wish no Faithful ill will, but you lot… wake up.

Walk with God Admiral.

Maybe after 10 years of talking about faith, you should go and achieve something. Then you can talk to us of your efforts. You were impotent in The Bleaks, you were incompetent in Thebeka, now you’ve moved on to being inconsequential in Providence.

SFRIM / LUMEN are a great example of what happens when you work with the faithful. PIE has never been luckier or stronger than to have such a reliable ally who are going from strength to strength. I’m not sure how you consider having strong, faithful allies to be a weakness all of a sudden.

((Graelyn asked us to imagine it in character))

(( I just would like to say, oocly for my private opinion, that these guys have been busting ass to try to do right by RP community and give folks with less savory Back stories who never get a shot to join in the fun a shot at being part of the fray. And taking something that someone posted when he was just running ideas past someone and carrying on with them when they clearly have said since that they didn’t want that to represent their actions seems pretty awful. This is the kind of trash that keeps me from really jumping into the RP game. The inability for folks to let people attempt to change direction, the unnecessary flaming. I often get the feeling that it’s all this strange club where you don’t get to play unless you’re a member, but god help you if you aren’t accepted as a member and instead go do your own thing.

Thats my two cents. Sorry for the break in character, but FFS could we stop being enormous members of the male anatomy for a minute and let these guys play, trust me I’ve read a fair amount of tripe posted in IGS my own included and I’ve yet to see a Hemingway amongst any of us… ))

You sound quite upset that he is willing to actually use someone with skills and is a competent professional. Did your superiors not teach you to not blabber about in public or slander other’s good name?

I can say that offering anyone to Sansha is off the table so long as I, Lord Vaari hold these prestigious titles. I dont know what my esteemed alliance members have thought before me joining, but im sure they have realized the gravity of their error. To compensate this, I, Lord Vaari will equip one pilgrim class t2 cruiser from my own hangars and deliever it to PIE as a compensation of that serious insult.

Also before anyone starts, you can’t put up a poll where you can select all the options, and then not expect people to vote all options.

You can… but you shouldn’t.

Personally, Vaari, I actually appreciate this. It is good of you to admit the fault of and take responsibility for your colleague’s mistake.

However, convincing anyone that it is worth it to accept the apology would be another matter.
