I love those moments when you have to weigh up the risk in a split second. Gankers often already know their target in advance…but with suspect hunting you often have to make a split second decision at a gate. To me that is Eve at its best.

That is not good enough.

May James rise up from his grave to gank your pod fang….

I make my split second decisions in the belt.

Gates are easy - just kill everything without a travel visa.

Security Status is going to the moon after I had quit ganking!

Ganker…" Hold on while I get my lawyer"
Miner…“OK…I’ll just hang around”
Lawyer…" Hello miner. Let me show you PvP Consent Form 29B, with specific reference to paragraph 28, clause 19 "
Miner…" Er…OK…but what does it mean ?"
Ganker : " It means you consent to me shooting at you"
Miner " But I don’t ! I thought Eve was a place where I could safely watch Netflix while AFK ! "
Lawyer : " Ah, in that case you don’t need me as this falls under gross negligence and the felony of badly fitted ships "
Ganker : " Glad that’s sorted out ! "

…sounds of ship exploding and lawyer losing his commission.

I’ve never charged up a French beach and shot 400 Germans in real life. But I have in Medal Of Honour.

Ganking is post concord intervention. Not my style but still a viable play style.

I still feel like concord rewards players from being afk, i wish that concord was still invincible but rather then be instakill it locked a ship so the other player could have a chance to get away if they were present and maybe drop some nasty rats that only drop scrap metal or something.

Im just not a fan of the concord instakill. I like the idea of someone hunting me, so i spend time on d scan and prepare for a fast warp when unknowns drop into the chat log.

There exists a thrill of being hunted and pursued, makes me feel relevant.

Dont incur the wrath of concord, but rather let your sec status and faction standings dip so you will be chased by not one but 2 entities: faction police and faction navy

You can gank a 500m ISK ship in Eve and lose 0.17 Concord security status points…but pod the totally empty pod of a State War Academy member ( for example ) and you lose 0.7 faction points for that alone. Somehow doesn’t quite seem balanced.

Podding carries more penalties

Implants.

Also clones used to cost alot, without which , you lost your skill points.
