That’s the rotten apples I am talking about. No reason to be in an help channel but to inflate their own self-perception.
Yeah. But you know, maybe being a not rotten apple in that barrell is something I could use my passion for.
As long as I remember to generalise less and specify more
there is a block feature. From my experience there is just like 10-20 people in an help channel that should be blocked/banned. Compare that to Jita local !
Rotten apples, like the people who flag posts and then try to call ISD just to be spiteful?
BTW, if you want tank, fly Procurer. Duh.
Xuixien, if you would have simply waited, your first flagged reply would have been unflagged once an ISD got around to reviewing flags and found no objectionable content. And it doesn’t really matter - anyone could have seen your first reply, by clicking to view the “ignored” content! Flags are as good as a post-magnet, for some readers.
Yeah but that guy getting himself banned would have been worth the effort. Flagging someone just for pointing out that you can fly a Procurer if you want a tanky mining barge. LOL
Concordokken is a cost, I didn’t say that it was a risk. The risk comes from elsewhere, or it would if people could be bothered to provide it.
No it does not, since gankers can know what tank you have and adjust the fleet.
And BTW good luck fitting tank on a covetor.
Please, stop your BS. show me a covetor fit that has enough tank to survive 3 T2 catalysts.
Wrong tool for the job; you fly a Procurer or a Skiff if you’re going for tank.
A screwdriver is not a hammer…
Oh look another one that is conflating cost with risk.
Concordokken is a cost, the risk is meant to come from other players.
Both of you, try harder.
Pretty much the worst that will (probably) happen if you fly a Procurer or Skiff is someone like me comes around in a Machariel or a 500mn SFI and bumps you… because boy do those things fly!
Indeed, not invincible, but bloody hard to kill in 20 odd seconds AND make a profit; unless of course it’s all purpled out.
Well considering a Skiff can get like 100k+ EHP with just basic T2 fittings, you’re not going to be ganking it for profit, ever.
Same with a Procurer.
So the argument “you can’t put a tank on a Covetor so there” is specious at best.
:Anderson:
I don’t get the reference.
lol it’s snark.
Should we tell them about T1 haulers than can pack BC level tanks and still align like cruisers while hauling stuff to market?
No, but you should tell me about them so I can help out my lower skilled corpmates that need to haul loot.
Thus saying there is a risk for the gankers is a lie.
There is no risk. You don’t care. You know you will lose your ship, and have to log your second set of alt while the criminal timer passes.
It’s a correct tool for the job of mining.
Still you are claiming that they can tank it to create risk for the ganker.
But I agree with you : it’s stupid to have three types of mining barge that do the same thing and have no room for fitting, when the modules are supposed to be the differentiating factor for ships of the same role.
All barges should have the ehp of the procurer, and what’s more the fitting room to be able to either choose tank, or mining yield, not be limited to be a glass target like the covetor.
You, try harder. You affirm there is risk for the gankers, but remain elusive on the topic.
Because there is literally ZERO risk for the ganker.
So you claiming
Is a lie.
But not the correct tool for the job of mining with tank.
They don’t do the same thing. They all do 1 thing, but they also have specializations.
I get the feeling that this threads only reason for existing is so Sol can test out his new forum alt, Xuixien.
He wants to test how long it takes for it to be banned.
Yes, the forum alt he created 4 years before he created his main.
Nereus, Wreathe, Badger and the Sigil are the best ones for it. I tend to fly the Nereus myself but others have had good results with the others.
Tanking them does reduce cargo space, but if you have bulk to haul there’s always RF
