With the recent EDENCOM and Caldari Navy activity within the system of Athounon around planet V, the directorship of Ishukone-Raata Enforcement Directive has approved the deployment of Internal Watch orbital vessels and ground-based posts.

The aim of I-RED’s efforts is to observe and act upon potential threats, provide reconnaissance assistance, and aid in any distress of both EDENCOM and State Forces alike. In addition to orbital observational facilities, an Astrahus will be anchored to provide logistics support for EDENCOM and Caldari Navy forces.

I-RED’s Internal Watch will have zero tolerance for any Kybernaut or Triglavian activity in or around the orbit of planet V in Athounon. Hostile actions upon EDENCOM and/or Caldari Navy forces will be met with swift action.

Please refer to the following reply in this thread for I-RED’s most up to date ROE.

For Ishukone. For the State.

Glory to the State!

Electus Matari is prepared to assist Edencom and/or Lux Invicta as necessary.

This will be interesting to watch now. One State aligned entity supporting specifically Navy, but posturing to facilitate diplomatics with the Collective. Another supporting the Navy and Edencom, but posturing in direct opposition of any activity from the Collective.

This can only end well.

A Wolf had been feasting too greedily, and a bone had stuck crosswise in his throat. He could get it neither up nor down, and of course he struggled to eat anything. Naturally that was an awful state of affairs for a greedy Wolf.

So away he wandered, hoping his misfortune would remedy itself with time. As he wandered, a Crane discovered the Wolf in his distress and stood poised to offer her assistance, sure that she, with her long neck and bill, would easily be able to reach the bone and pull it out.

"Surely he will reward me handsomely should I assist him with his troubles,” the Crane thought.

As you can imagine, she was very uneasy about putting her head in a Wolf’s throat. But she was grasping in nature, so she did what was needed to help the Wolf in the hopes of great reward.

When the Wolf felt that the bone was gone, he started to walk away.

“Aren’t you going to reward me?” said Crane anxiously.

“What!” snarled the Wolf, whirling around. “Haven’t you got it? Isn’t it enough that I let you take your head out of my mouth without snapping it off?”

Ms. Brezia, you know I am a strong advocate for diplomatic resolutions; however, even I cannot look past the actions of the Collective and their supporters.

I do not believe there is a possibility of a peaceful, lasting agreement with the Wolf. He will always revert to his true nature.

SUOT is available to assist with those operations as necessary. This can be covered under the existing terms of the prior agreement for cooperation agreed upon with Hinkelmann-haan or on an ad-hoc basis.

I find it starkly concerning that capsuleers continue to behave as if they are the ones that should be dictating the decision making on State relations with other non-capsuleer organizations and nations.

It should not be dismissed as coincidence that official Caldari Navy units have been deployed into the Athounon system directly following the Commander’s offer to hold a summit between the State and the Veles Clade of the Triglavian Collective.

I strongly advise against anyone claiming to support the Caldari State and its interests from directly engaging with Triglavian or Kybernaut entities excepting in self-defense until the CEP and Navy make an announcement of intent. Any aggressive behavior or attacks could very well be AGAINST the CEP’s interests and thus the State’s interest.

I would not want to be the Caldari pilot responsible for disrupting the CEP’s agenda in this time of tension and neither should any of you.

I do not believe anywhere in my statement to Ms. Brezia did I say one decision should be made over another, nor would I ever speak on behalf of the State as a capsuleer. My words were my own and based on my experience as a diplomat in the service of I-RED. Perhaps in the future every capsuleer should place a disclaimer on their statements in order to ensure their words are not taken as those of any specific factions?

In any case, in the event a diplomatic summit is indeed held and an agreement be reached between the State and the Collective, then I will be the first to state that my personal belief was wrong. Until then, I stand by my statement with the firm hope that any decision reached is done so with sincere thought into all possible outcomes.

Presence of minmatar terrorists in Athounon will be neither welcomed nor accepted.

Athounon’s Caldari naval fleet was flying around the broken EDENCOM structure without even driving out the trigs in the area in question.

They must have been trying to steal Structure’s cloaking technology, etc., which was a higher priority than getting rid of Trig.

Since there is no official announcement from the Navy, we have eliminated their fleet for now.

We sincerely hope that the fleet of EDENCOM and CONCORD, the rightful owners of the structure, will appear.

Station grade cloaking systems have existed for years… while its not impossible that there goal would be such, I don’t quite see what necessity they would have to do such.

Thank you for informing me. I shall now adjust your standings to -10 for being an enemy of the Caldari people. I encourage all other loyal citizens to do the same.

Ah, a pirate masquerading as an EDENCOM Officer. What joy.

Masquerading… like they can’t be both.
Are you aware that some of the worst of our cluster scum was flying for EDENCOM? Including the filthiest of traitors.

Fascinating. I didn’t know they let you in to their fleets. Thought they’d have been more selective.

Did Kuvakei start writing programs for his puppets to start trolling galnet boards, or are you just too dumb to realize what you’re even writing?

I wish we had the technology to cloak some of these comments.

Perhaps if we ask nicely and provide adequate compensation, EDENCOM could do some research on such a thing. I’m sure they would understand the need, considering the sanity of those who read these forums is at stake.

Then again, I’m not sure there would ever be an adequate amount of compensation in order to cloak some of the rhetoric that comes through certain topics year after year after year.
