I think is has to do with people who wanna kill going through effort in finding their target and then being utterly surprised their target has done his/her homework as well.

The trick is to kill and not to be killed while doing it or funding it (aka in your turn being the prey).

If dying doesnt happen enough then maybe fighting isnt the most useful action enough.
