A thought recently crossed my mind. I’d like to know your opinion on the matter.
Imagine a jump bridge that could be placed inside a wormhole to connect it to another wormhole of your choice.
Naturally, the price of such a bridge would have to be enormous, and it would also have to consume a large amount of expensive fuel. I would even put the cost of this bridge close to that of a Palatine Keepstar. So, only super-rich wormhole corporations could even dream of it.
So a super effective way for the c6 cartel to defend structures that can only be afforded by said members of cartel. Seems balanced
It’s not the worst idea.
My opinion: those who could afford and protect it won’t need it and those who could need it can’t afford or protect it.
So, it would benefit absolutely no one and solidify the existing power structure even more.
On first thought I have to give a like to this concept.
But there are a whole bunch of ‘What ifs…?’ with this.
So it would need to be extremely limited and narrowly focused.
