How is it possible that people can believe the Concord pulling mechanic is an exploit. This was resolved clearly year and years ago (second post down):

Mining without a permit, that’s the real exploit!
Concord is functioning properly…it’s in the wiki…
Try harder miner…
I agree that it’s not logical or realistic but it does and another step that gankers need to (or can) perform to increase their chances. Plus it will alert the system that gankers are getting ready for a hit…
I’d vote to keep it just as it gives more options…makes things more interesting.
Pulling CONCORD is not an exploit. Calm down, miner.
Calm down CODE.-tard…I know it hard to face the fact that without the concord exploit none of your shenanigans would float…zero nothing. Kind of makes you feel like a zero or nothing I bet.
Calm down, miner.
Provide evidence that it’s an exploit and plead your case to CCP.
More tears please…the salt is great!
You still don’t understand that we are just talking about 6s right?
This is pretty funny considering the fact that I often pull CONCORD by ganking a retriever.
cheater!
That what she said…6 seconds…not quite a bull ride.
Wow, Viirilithizu Ward sure aligned herself with some cool people.
Good luck with that antiganking career.
The GM in question also said that CCP’s position on the matter might change at some point in the future, and that post was made back in 2014. So…has there been any indication that their policy has changed, or is everything as it was six years ago?
(2014. God, has it really been that long?!)
I think it is very, very obvious that CCP has not surreptitiously changed their policy on highsec suicide ganking. As far as we are all aware, nobody has received a warning for “pulling Concord” in the past 6 years.
The funny thing is that by pulling, you are giving the system a HUGE warning that evil gankers are at work. CCP is actually helping miners by having the ‘pull’ mechanize as it forces the evil gankers to choose between pulling and alerting the system OR trading surprise for less time before Concorde arrives.
Working as intended I believe…
If it has changed, then you might try petitioning losses.
Agents would quickly notice their ganking alts being banned too.
Nope.
Alrighty then, sounds good to me!
…and I was completely unaware of that. Frakking hell, this game doesn’t need to be safer, or to have more ways to avoid a gank.
What it needs is a damn manual; a comprehensive, detailed explanation of all the game’s mechanics packed into one document with an index and table of contents. Now, if the manual were ever printed out it would probably look something like the 716-page compendium made for Falcon 4.0, but that’s beside the point.
In a game that encourages players to trust no one, being able to refer to a comprehensive, objectively written manual that was made (or at least endorsed) by the developers is something I can only see as a good thing.
Eve University made a comprehensive Wiki that explained everything impartially and in detail. But that was back in the glory days of Eve. It is getting pretty dusty.
