What about when ice didnt despawn at all. You would have people and bots mining it all day. So i dunno if there is more ice now than before. Maybe because you can get sub 26sec cycle times now when mining ice.
CCP’s scarcity mechanics have completely crashed prices! There are just not enough resources to keep indy profits at acceptably high levels! Someone needs to be fired for this! They need to increase resource abundance ASAP so that prices can become higher and miners can make an honest living again!

Anyone who asked for more resources/more yield/more tank/less risk was asking the prices to tank.

technically more resources but less botting probably would still increase prices …
just saying
more tank less risk in HS not really going to change prices in any SIGNAFCANT way with low/null still risky more rewardy. but it does make gankers salty they can’t abuse noobs with a cheap ass destroyer, so if they really want to gank someone maybe spend more isk and worry less about profiting from ganking.

This is not true at all. With the increase in tank, yield and cargo capacity, along with the double in ore size, there has never been more ore to mine in HS. People are mining more and mining faster than before so prices are obviously going to drop especially since indy is so borked right now.

@Mike_Azariah wanted to see what would happen if carebears in Highsec could mine ice without any risk, so as a member of the CSM he will be making a report to CCP about the results of his little experiment.
Fortunately, @Suitonia has personally assured the EvE community that all Highsec ice miners are not bots, and they are definitely not AFK (with the client minimized, standing outside the trailer drinking Steel Reserve), so we can be fully assured that Highsec mining is GOOD CONTENT and is really going to improve the game.

Asshole wardec griefer assholes are responsible for broken ice prices! It’s impossible for honest players to own structures, so there’s no demand for fuel. CCP fixed the gank griefing by increasing miner EHP, but they haven’t solved the other side of the equation because they’re IDIOTS. The only way to have a healthy economy is by fixing (which is to say REMOVING) ganking AND wars at the same time. Until CCP gets rid of the unwanted PvP, the markets will continue to suffer!

Stations sucked even before cores. But cores made them more profitable to destroy than to own.
I do see the reason and I think it is the reason why the cores were introduced.
I could be wrong but would it be to funnel focus towards larger corps? Creating larger battles?

It might have disgruntled some of their older players who suddenly lost all their stuff in the rule change. But who cares about that, right?
