That’s true. I did notice today that their heavily discounted 12- and 24-month Omega bundles are on sale in the NES for 600 PLEX more than the two most comparable PLEX bundles likely to be heavily discounted (3600/6600 vs 3000/6000).
If you either can’t or are too lazy to do some basic math to figure out what you’re actually spending in the NES store, that’s on you…
Well…thankfully in 2016 I voted to tell the EU where it can shove its daft regulations.
Well, you might get fewer people crying and shouting over the loss of their precious Venture if a message popped up saying ’ The real life cost of your Venture was 7 pence’
Not even. At 800k ISK, a fitted Venture is worth little more than half a penny ($0.007).
Most of the annoyance of losing a ship is in the having to go and get a new one, fit it and fly back to where you were/somewhere else and start whatever you were doing from scratch rather than the cost.
Anyone who equates that to just crying about the cost of the shop is just trolling.
You mean you don’t have a hundred spare £0.07 Ventures in dock already ?
Given that I don’t mine, no… but that’s not the point. The units of effort still need to be completed regardless of when it actually gets done, and it’s that which is more costly than the ISK cost itself.
…which of course you already know, but trolling is literally your only enjoyment (I’m guessing, but why would anyone do it except for lack of better options for use of their time?).
my friend, no state survive without taxes or regulation
You’re not unhinged at all.
No state survives if taxpayer’s money is being wasted on legislating whether a Jaffa Cake is a cake or a biscuit or a banana has the right curviness.
Yeah there’s definitely air getting in all right
also that

I think it’s nice there is some legislation against anti-customer practices like misleading products, Apple refusing to adapt a standard adapter or gaming companies using dark patterns to manipulate customers and obfuscate their in-game purchases.
I don’t agree with everything the EU does, but I like this particular change.
Lol…you feel the need to post three posts of ad hominem splurge all because you were shown to be spouting nonsense in one ?
Meh. I agree with Quakegod above. Working out the value of one’s spending doesn’t exactly require a degree in quantum thermodynamics. For example I have a rough sense that £10 is about 1.8 billion ISK. Its gone up since I last bought PLEX. I can use this to get a general idea of what any ship is ‘worth’.
Incidentally, a little thing some may not know. If you hold the cursor over the ISK value in killboard, it displays the rl value.
How about basic economics? That seems to be the first point of contention.
Mhhhmm…
Oh really?
Apparently a retriever was worth $25, which according to the above, places its value north of 4 billion ISK.
Pot, meet kettle.
Estimated value.
