Invasion content biased toward EDENCOM

CCP has no qualms at all about presenting the game one way. to get you to play based on what you think is happening or possible.

And then then rigging the outcome so it comes out exactly the way they plan it to, regardless of your efforts.

For a recent example, check the ‘random’ amounts of SP you get from the daily login. Then notice that all 20 of your characters somehow magically complete the SP reward on the same day, regardless of where they were the day before. And the ones that would have hit the reward 2 days early get artificially slowed down to complete on the same date.

They may as well have named this season “Smoke and Mirrors: Because We Think You’re Too Dumb To Notice”.

If this is the case, it would be a sad continuation of copying ED.

Wierd how the Trigs came just after the Thargoids.

They also said player agency would determine outcome. Yet this was false in ED’s case.

It doesn’t help that they released this on a Tuesday when believe it or not some people are still working.

Space republicans

Null players have become soft gorging themselves on the blue donut.

I’m 100% sure that if the reverse was true and the only way the system could go was to lowsec then the carebears would be FURIOUS. But no, because the triglavians can’t win (somehow the trigs are secretly alts of nullsec players) and their safety is assured they laugh and jeer. I don’t care if your system goes to lowsec or not. I just want it possible for the trigs to actually do stuff rather than just lose or mysteriously vanish.

This doesn’t mean “Player agency will control whatever the players want” though.
Outcomes have to be shaped for development purposes to only a few outcomes. To do otherwise would allow players to wreck the entire product, which would be stupid.

Something on Reddit made me think that perhaps there was a ‘key’ step that was missed to the Triglavian sites. A friend of mine saw a final structure in the system with ships sitting outside. He went through the gate in his cloaky, and having not taken part in the battle was vaporized by the Trigs upon entering. He saw no other Capsuleers in this area, but did see ‘something’ off in the distance before being extirpated.

Do you have any proof to support your claim?

It would be a bit embarrassing for the triglavian side if it was something like overlooking some simple action(s). :upside_down_face:

yes. the fact that trigs cant win no mater what. almost like their victory wasnt provided for

And how do you know they didn’t win, you think the system is going to all of a sudden switch over?

yes, just like it did for EDENCOM.

But for trigs we didnt even seen the progress in invasion tab.

ED had only 1 outcome of 2 possiblities. It was made clear the one outcome was the only way that was intended.

Not just like it did for EDENCOM.
EDENCOM already control the systems.
Like, I get the wanting to see results, fair enough. But it’s not an equal weighted system, EDENCOM is literally fighting to… get what they currently have basically. Trigs are fighting to smash the current situation. This means the mechanics have to be weighted to EDENCOM initially, because the Meta is weighted to the Trigs long term.

THANK YOU!!! Exacly 100000% how i feel.

It’s cute that you think this event has a player-determined outcome. Bless your heart.
