Some people just don’t get it. This last chapter has just started and is planned to continue for the next few months. To expect an instant change to system stats is foolish at best. Those systems will probably be contested a few times before any actual designation is applied to them.
Hi-sec system that was .6 is now effectively .3. Props to the determined players who didn’t give up.
Now stop your bitching and jump on the backs of the glorious and ride their coat tails to victory.
And what system is that?
Raravoss
So the blue sun was the answer?
Maybe?
Maybe it was random
Maybe it is a weighted probability.
Maybe it’s every 3rd one Trigs win.
Lack of data points for pattern recognition.
I don’t think it was, but you could ask Ashterothi if he is willing to say what/if they did differently this time. Someone will likely spill it on Reddit anyway
They realized not only do you have to clear the sites you also have to clear the roaming fleets.
CCP does need to address the issue of repping the side you choose but not becoming suspect like they did in wardecs.
There’s plenty ccp needs to address with this. The big one is the lack of standings loss to the Big 4, even though you lose standings with edencom
Well, there was a whole lotta talk about flipping the systems. And as soon as 1 did the TrogSupportForce ran for the hills. Where is all that bravado about going after hi-sec players. Looks like once those that talk saw they have to fight people who fight back they got scured.
Looks like some people only wanted easy wins. Then surprise, EVE is hard.
The whole concept of standings is utterly nonsensical, boring, and should be done away with. All it does is encourage soul-crushing grind and the usage of alts; two things that the game needs less of, not more.
Are staple gameplay mechanics of an MMO. You may hate it, but it ain’t going anywhere soon.
Of an MMO? I’ve played dozens, and this is the first one in which I’ve owned more than one account.
And even the grind part is questionable for most other MMOs out there. Even in the classic example of WoW, the leveling can’t really be considered a grind because you’re following quests with story lines, and end-game content consists of challenging yourself to either beat difficult raids, or to improve your skills to climb the ladder in arenas. The only part that ever felt like a “grind” there was the reputation component, and that wasn’t even mandatory, with some rare exceptions.
Meanwhile, in EVE, it’s always “just gotta run another ten hours of missions before I can afford my Tengu, guys.” I like EVE and have played it for a very long time, but it’s objectively one of the most grindy games I’ve ever played.
it suck , ms @Destiny_Corrupted is right
i always sided with amarr so before invasion i thought
well there is two sides (minmatar/galente) vs (amarr/ caldari)
im amarr so half of the world doesn’t like me , but i have my team
ok , its not perfect but its the game , now its empires vs trigs
looks like there is more people to hate me
i dont have a alt , i see that most people never would be in my situation , they prefer to have positive standing with everyone , so i was thinking , what for
most of the dudes have alts , most of the players avoid standing loss activities and have positive standing , why this mechanic exist? to punish me? to favor alts ?
i suspect that ccp in the early stages though of something like alliance vs horde … but there is no sense now in modern eve
time to standing lost to go
time to give me amnesty
not because i deserve it , or because i want it , but because its a bad mechanic that is preventing players to enjoy lots of content
edit: sec status is good … standing not
i leaved the amarr militia , im giving a time , in jita making some isk , because i encountered some disrespectful insufferable kids that made me loose some of the pleasure i had…dudes with 5 solo kills talking ■■■■ to a old veteran that is important to the militia and had recruited LOTS of people in all this years of service , my desire was to take some time to kill them till they learn respect , but i thought , naaa, my standing already suc% with minmatar and galente , i cant kill amarr ,so i will chill for 2 months and return to amarr militia , is all i have ,its impossible to change , the kid will not have his deserved spanking , BAD MECHANIC , has to change

it’s objectively one of the most grindy games I’ve ever played.
This is EvE’s top problem I think.
Grind is the essence of mmorpg.
I will only remind that in Lineage korean player have achieved max level 90 cap, he was first…
after 18 years of this game existence.

Grind is the essence of bad mmorpg design.
FTFY.
I see you want no consequences for your actions. Typical behavior for a PVP player, really. You’re happy to ruin someone else’s play time, but YOUR play time? Sacred.

I see you want no consequences for your actions.
Now that’s a strawman. You shouldve used that in your previous example.
