Is Hisec ganking good for the game?

Speaking as someone whose lived most of his EVE life in low, high sec miners are also needed for the game. Methinks you do not understand the underpinnings of the game you play and how it lets you playstyle be viable.

LOL the hate you have against people in high sec is wild. Imagine being this concerned over how other people play. We get it, you think you’re elite cause you krab instead of mission. Goodo for you.

Personally I wish they’d move 4s down into low. Then there would be greatness.

That’s their own fault.

A rational actor would have the sense to not take risks that they cannot afford.

I don’t fly freighters, or marauders, and I have exactly zero sympathy for anyone who thinks they need an expensive ship to enjoy the game. I especially do not sympathize with those who ‘play’ AFK, or refuse to take appropriate precautions.

The “low sec” areas of a first world country probably compare well with Eve’s High Sec. Some places in the inner city of Los Angeles might even be considered “null sec”.

But there are some towns in the USA where nobody gets ganked. It’s just not a thing. The police would come down really hard if it did happen.

Some people really do live in that fairy tale.

However, the thing about third world countries : they’re not bad places to live if you’re rich. And every player in Eve would be considered rich, no matter how low on ISK they are right now.

I may rp Caldari military, but the princess is right.

I think that’s also the reason legitimate industry fails so often in real life third world countries. Too much ganking.

Eve is a really good simulation. So long as you take into consideration just what is being simulated.

BURST JAMMER… 1 silly little griffin with a burst jammer as they go Criminal is probably better than a handful of logi. Yes you go suspect but it annoys em off even more.

Also if you want to make isk… warp around in your 90k fit nersus or 100k fit assult frig… put a couple hundred mil in cargo, undock jita 4/4 and laugh at the tornado and whatever shoots at you… then make isk by selling the kill right!

You really do imagine TV is real and theres “the wrong side of the tracks”

Wow.

Yeah, Shell are big losers, all those failed facilities.

And the appropriate precaution is two accounts so they have a scout and can dock up and logout while waiting for the gankers and their bumper to log out. Great gameplay…, not!

No AFK play from them.

See above for your other comment.

Actually while it is one of the reasons, the main reason is unreliable power supply, something us first world countries are about to impose on ourselves. Another is poor logistic infrastructure, something we will also be imposing on ourselves too come to think of it. In some parts of the first world we have similar conditions to third world countries in terms of criminality.

You can quit the game. That’s fine with me. Bye!

They did quit the game, that’s just it.

As for me I am now almost into a year of being de-subbed on my two main accounts, but I am lurking to see if things will change, also some of my friends are still playing and I might come back to support them if it is within my TZ. When you next speak to your tame ISD do congratulate him. :stuck_out_tongue:

Right, but why don’t YOU quit.

All you do is come to the forums and WHINE, endlessly.

Just go already. Nobody even wants you here.

Calm down ganker, commenting on game mechanics and balance is always whining to you, in fact you keep whining about it which is very amusing.

I have played this game for many years, I have decent characters and a pretty nice level of assets. I will come back when I feel like it, get over it.

You don’t even play the game. You can just quit and move on with your life. It’s fine! You’ve played for years, you had your day in the light of loyal, and you failed. Now I’m more powerful than ever. It’s like James 315 and Helicity Boson all rolled into one. You can’t stop me. I’m more powerful than ever. CCP loves me. I kill crabs, and they don’t have to program a rat to do it. I’m the perfect solution. I’m their favourite character in the whole galaxy, and you are just somebody who quit the game and lurks to whine. Shoo! Shoo! Just run along. The game isn’t dead, and we will be fine without your ghost.

That seems like a bit of a self aggrandising rant on how great you are, do continue.

I’m the best! #1 greatest EVE player EVER.

I’m going straight up like a ROCKET.

:rocket:

Check out my blog. Even James 315 had to stand aside.

“Great job, Aiko!” that’s what he said at the funeral.

I think of appropriate precaution as things like not flying a loot pinata, using dscan, not using autopilot, checking the map for pod kills and ship destruction, staying aligned, etc

Remember that I was talking about hisec hauling focussed players, they were doing hauling contracts, so they had no control on the cargo, so strike that off your list.

Dscan is good in one sense but does not enable them to see what is waiting at the next gate if they are solo players, they have to rely on less than timely intel from AG intel.

POD kills and destructions indicates that they should do what I suggested, dock up and log out. Though finding a hisec to hisec WH is one way, if they are rather lucky, it is something I used.

Staying aligned is something that the gankers will force on them with bumping for at least several minutes…

As I said, their options are very limited.

need to make friends in a multiplayer game.

Not hard to understand.

But why do gankers run multiple ganking accounts?
