Personally, I think the old days were better. I played my trial period and I was hooked. I invested some time and money in this game because I liked the player-driven mechanics and the intellectual challenge of this game. If the F2P wannabees want to cry about not getting everything for free, let them whine, I say. A friend and I just tried to start a new corp with Alphas, and nobody wants to invest in voice comms, or commit to corp raids, any of the stuff that made learning EVE fun. F*** 'em.
