Ohhhhh! That’s a good one! But they’re not quite writing the same kind of ■■■■■■■■, so I don’t really think that’s the case. This warrants further investigation, though.
For some reason DMC, Drac and I often share similar views, despite our different backgrounds,
I cant explain it, except to say we are not the same person, but do at large have a different perspective on EVE than many others.
I can say unequivocably, none of us are trolls.
Our views may be “unpopular”, however you understand that, but I can promise you none of us want to harm EVE, and all understand its seminal nature.
All crap aside, we all want a better game, for all of us.
No, I know you aren’t the same person, and not uncommon for people to share views at all.
I wouldn’t sweat it Salvos. I don’t really think people actually believe you are the same person. There’s plenty of evidence that shows otherwise anyway.
As for not being trolls - it’s a word like “balance” and “griefing” - it’s very abused around here. Sometimes we all troll a little bit, but for the most part, the forum has very few genuine trolls.
I think its important that we fight hard on issues, to test them.
Winning is not important, the issue is.
I am certain DMC and Drac would agree with me on that.
I am certain you agree too.
Imagine how boring and stagnant these boards would be without DMC, Drac and I, and the occasional lurker that speaks out.
I think we all know where the lines are drawn, we have argued for years.
We know each orher. We have exchanged more words than many married couples
Let us not forget respect for each other, though we all lapse occasionally.
Fighting constantly is just draining, especially when it’s just fighting for the sake of fighting, rather than to advance a topic. It seems to happen quite a bit.
Sometimes just good discussion devolves into fighting for no clear reason. It often destroys threads in the process (and many of us that are regulars in GD are involved, whether the thread is in GD or moved elsewhere).
Yes at times and more often than others in the forum (though we all do it too). The more often part is the bit that leads to so much conflict, even when it’s not needed
How we see things is often very different, so sometimes it seems like you are trying to be constructive and sometimes the opposite.
This is all off topic now and probably worth it’s own thread, so I’ll stop here and get back to the issue of ganking, which is fine (and should be encouraged as it makes the game more interesting).
No because I never opposed him. Either I had neutral point of view or I agreed with him or I was smart enough not to confront him with my opposite opinion.
You know, the threads are going to 300+ only because you feed him
Should be pretty obvious that this was a joke. You all behave completely different. It is usually not very hard to spot an alt. Think of Fab Rod, it took only one post for him to out himself every time.
I do believe however that if you three would merge together in a Voltron like union, a new powerful super villain with the name of Captain HyperCarebear would emerge and troll the forums with weird ■■■■ never seen by humanity before. So lets all hope that never ever happens. I’m obviously serious now.
Just for the fun of it. Unlike ganking a ship bumping one costs you nothing. The gankers can bump you and keep you from warping just for the sheer joy of seeing your tears in local, killing time until a real target arrives and they suicide gank it. The escape in that case is logging off, denying them their fun and coming back later when you can warp without interference.
Now, you are correct that logging off won’t save you if you are a target, but if you are a target you have already screwed up and deserve to die for your stupidity. Don’t earn your Darwin award and you don’t have to worry about that possibility.
