If you are going to try logging off do immediately on the chance they aren’t prepared to aggress you. And if that is your best strategy then you almost surely made a sequence of bad decisions.

Well, if you log out and the gank happens you lose also capsule. If your pod is juicy rather not log out. But yeah, if someone jumps with loot piňata Freighter with no support into Uedama and get bumped repeatedly, in that moment there is nothing else to do anyway…

You’re missing the point here. You can be scanned down and attacked, but that is not a threat if you are not a gank target in the first place. Consider an extreme example of an empty freighter. Yes, they can bump you for lols, but when you log off are they really going to expend a whole gank fleet to kill you in exchange for zero loot drop? I doubt it. They’re going to let you go, and save the gank fleet for a profitable target. Keep your value low and you don’t get ganked.

If you are not a gank target, why would you get bumped? Furthermore in my post I wrote, “logging off won’t help you (that is if you are really target)”. That post wasn’t edited and you are replying with short version “bruh but if you are not a target and you are bumbed for lolz then it will help you”.

??? It seems to me that you are deliberately trying to be right and for that you are switching topics.

So again. If you are a gank target, logging off won’t help you. You will most likely still get ganked unless the gankers aren’t prepared for this (and since freighters are basically only domain of the most skilled/coordinated gankers, this is not likely to happen).
