Why are you so concerned with that specific point (that we all know to be true)?

Industry won’t stop, because even if all of the weak carebears stop there will still be competent industrial players who will celebrate the fact that their competition all disappeared and gave a nice boost to their profit margins. This is why competent industrial players love the idea of suicide ganks and oppose any changes to make them less common. After all, suicide ganks are little or no threat to the competent players, but simultaneously remove competition from the market and drive demand for the stuff the competent industrial players produce. In fact, I’d bet that competent industrial players celebrate the deaths of other industrial players even more than any PvP player ever would.
(Seriously, the whole CODE thing is one of the greatest scams in the history of EVE. It’s brilliant, not only convincing most of EVE to gleefully kill off your competition but even getting yourself a reputation as some kind of terrifying hardcore PvPer.)

DMC and I share similar views on many things, but we also disagree on others.
Neither of us has “trolled” gank related threads, like you two are doing now.
As you can see from my posts, I see ganking as largely a non-issue.
As Scipio posted stats for, ganking of freighters is a tiny % of HS attrition.
Imo the rate of freighter destruction in HS has always been too low, and my entire post history is consistent with that view.
As Ive said many times, despite myself playing a mostly PvP evading meta, I am one of the most pro-PvP and hawkish regulars on this board.
Your attempts to portray me otherwise, are invalid.

As Ive said before, if ganking starts reaching >20% of HS attrition, then we can look at it.
Atm, the rate/volume is so tiny, and gankers prefer overstuffed/undertanked/undersupported freighters, that it really is not a concern.

My gut feeling from having read many of your posts over an extended period of time, and engaged with you often here, is that yes, you are a salt-mining ganker. You as in the player, not the character. And if not that, then a person that enjoys trolling in gank related threads, probably cos there are so many tears/lols to be had.
