The inverse question is more interesting: why should high sec be especially exempt from PvP activities?
The answer is “it should not” to match the rest of the sandbox universe.

If you want to compare the situation in high sec with a Foo Fighter concert it would be like you having a great time and then someone throws a cup of beer or piss at you. Not everyone likes that.
You are expecting something that has never existed in the entire 20 year history of Eve…the ability to undock and be completely safe. You need to adapt to the game, as the game is not going to adapt to you. If you don’t like the fact that there is nowhere 100% safe even in highsec, then really you are playing the wrong game.

Wether or not people have always been ganked in high sec is irrelevant. Its not intriguing and it shouldn’t be a thing. You probably don’t even understand.
It is a thing. Get over it. CCP are not going to change 20 years of gaming design just for some carebear who can’t cope.

Actually, I know for a fact you are. Thousands of people log in every day and cope with Eve as it is. I noticed yesterday that I guy I podded two years ago when he was just a noob is still in the game. I’ve been ganked myself early on…and gate camped…and I am still in the game and enjoying it over 2 years later.
The game will get by just fine without you.

How do you explain the threads every day against high sec ganking?
Lol…most of them are alts of the same small bunch of people, one of whom even admitted he had 100 alts. Every game has vocal whiners and malcontents, who often make a noise out of all relation to their actual size or significance. CCP have even stated, at the fanfest 2 years ago, that highsec ganking was not going away. So you are wasting your time ( and everyone else’s ) wailing over it.
And here’s the thing…what everyone else does is to enjoy the risk. It’s part of the game. It’s one of the things that makes the game exciting. A totally safe highsec would be so utterly boring.
There have been threads crying about ganking for EvE’s entire history. Do you think 1 single more thread is really gonna change anything? EvE is clearly not the game for you.

If anyone is going out of their way to post on alts to make it seem as if high sec ganking is a good mechanic its the high sec gankers since they already use alts to gank. I will believe your story about the guy who claimed to post with 100 alts when i see it. Have a nice day.
You must be new to the forums because it’s the opposite that’s true.
The only time a ganker has posted pro-ganking material on the forums with an alt, I called them out on it for using an alt, they then posted with their main on the forums confirming who they really were. The conversations continued on topic.
Whenever someone posts anti-ganking material on the forums and I push them the same, they never reveal who their main is, and the thread inevitably gets derailed because of that.
The opposite is even more true: anti-PvP people have a lot of PI, mission running, hauling, Indy cyno, mining, mining boost, and trading alts. And they do not have the biomass restrictions that gankers do.
By your logic they must be the ones who really use forum alts, and in practical experience it is true.

Do you really believe that your posts saying that ganking is bad is going to change anything? Serious question, I’m genuinely curious.
I’d thought that all the ganking complainers would have looked at the previous 20 years history of such complaints and that fact it hasn’t removed ganking and then maybe realize another complaint thread is pointless and just give up.
There is a saying, doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity.
