L2/L3 Mission blitz fit

First of all, I wanted to greet you.

I am looking for a fit that would allow me blitz through L3 mainly and also L2 missions. I wanted to do it, so I can grind to 5.0 corp standing in some regions.

My first candidate is:

759 DPS, 62k EHP.

I would prefer more fly something like hurricane, but I do not know how to fit it for given purpose and have nice DPS. I would like to avoid shield builds, because I have way more SP into Armor than Shield. I thought about Myrmidon, but I do not know how to fit it. I have also thought about Zealot, but I do not know if it is not too squishy for some L3 missions.

I would like to ask you about advises

Your fitting is not capstable enough. 5 minutes of cap with AB turned off can get you into trouble in some L3s. Resistances are not high enough in my opinion.

Why waste ammo? Personally, I use an Shield buffer Oracle for L3s in Amarr space. Works like a charm for anything Sansha and Blood Raider (Tracking Disruptors are a bit annoying but what can you do). Navy Crystals cost you 40% compared to navy ammo.

635 theoretical DPS against Sansha/Blood Raider. Mix and match drones and hardeners according to mission opponents. Cap stable with 1 repper running and 15 minutes of cap with 1 repper and AB on. Projectile guns are great on the Myrm because it has no bonus to Hybrids, which means you don’t lose DPS and you save a lot of cap for repairs and propulsion instead. The Armor Repairer bonus gives you 650 armor every cycle. which is double that of the Brutix and should be sufficient for most missions. If you feel confident, you can replace the 2nd repper with another DDA for more damage, and a capacitor mod for a Drone Navigation Computer for more drone speed to speed missions up a bit.

It shows me only 9 minutes cap stable and 619 DPS. and way less EHP.

probably because your skills are lower than Zhalyd’s

barghest, with 3 hyper rigs, faction RHML, 4 BCU T2, 2 nanofibers, 2 RF LSE, 500mn (deadspace if possible but not mandatory), invuls (T2 is fine). Fast, fast, hits like a truck, fast, fast. And tanky.

Myrm @ 5s has:

25.8k EHP, 166.3 EHP/s rep’d (with one rep, no web & AB running, good for ~15mins)
650 dps (Praetors + guns max range ~1.5km)

Brutix NI @ 5s has:
63.2k EHP, 104.4 EHP/s rep’d (with AB, web, both tracking comps, good for ~4mins)
804 dps (Hammerheads + guns max range ~22.5km)

Zealot should work without issues if you’ve got the skills to fly it, something like:

nope, the amarr especially is bad for alphas as they have crappy capacitor skills, also there is little point in flying an ABC until you have the T2 turret. which, an alpha can’t use.

capless guns are better for alphas. Also passive (shield) tank allow to not care about cap.

best weap system for alphas is thus missiles, because they will lack pwr for artilleries, med AC suck, and they can’t use large AC.

EHP is relative in missions. You are an active tank and as long as you can tank the incoming damage without losing your primary tank layer (armor in this case) EHP does not matter. EHP is more important for buffer fittings where your HP won’t be actively replenished by repair modules.

You should be able to use this. Flying the Oracle requires a lot of kiting in certain missions with lots of NPC. Especially frigates need to be destroyed as quickly as possible and from far enough away so that they cannot get under your tracking and web you. Andersen’s points apply, however. I use this as Omega and it works well. How well it works for alphas I cannot tell. Test it on Sisi if you want to find out before you buy something on TQ.

Zealot has the downside of not working well against Guristas, Serpentis and Angel cartel because of their rather high EM and Therm resistance. That’s also a downside of the Oracle.

your fits fine, but use a 50mn microwarpdrive, or anything that gets you to 1000m/s speed, because some of the level 2/3 missions have u flying long distances between rat groups which is annoying.

A good microwarpdrive makes it so much quicker and u just use it in bursts.

Nice that you chose a battlecruiser, anything smaller will have issues.

I wanted to Blitz them, mostly for standing, so I have access to many l4 Corporations, preferable in one region.

So I understand amarr, including Zealot would be good against Em/thermal weak tank. I can have more than one ship for that purpose, if selecting damage would make my life easier. I have terrible missile skills, very good Energy and hybrid, as well drones, very good Armor, mediacore shield.

Myrmidon build is ok, I can use oes, which I have skills points for, but I wonder if it make sens. Well he can take 5 heavy drones on.

My though, about ehp was to kill what is needed to kill and Repair on way back. Maybe not the best.

I prefer looting, if I do it, with noctis or MTU, but I would probably omit it or put MTU and come back to it after finishing mission, not carrying about Salvage and other staff. I also do not know if it is good idea.

L3 loot+salvage is a tiny bit worse than L4.

if you have access to T2 guns, then the machariel may be a bit cheaper than the barghest, but even faster. Same fit, replace missiles wit AC, use only 3 gyros and 1 nanofifiber, use the two lows for tracking enhancers or sigamp. You need a mid for tracking computer with range script.
The barghest is safer, has better projection, more selectable damage though.

I have access only to T2 Large Energy i Hybrid weapons, as well as all T2 combat drones.

I do not have access to T2 Large projectile, Cruise missile T2 and Torpedos T2

RHML use LARGE missiles, not cruise.

Use Lead, or one of its close cousins Thorium or Iridium with a Microwarpdrive, the logic is that at their operating ranges you’ll probably not need to repair at all, you’ll outrange everything but missiles, save a lot of capacitor and save the need to burn to each rat like a ping pong ball.

use AM, the logic is that if you shoot them fast enough they won’t shoot you back.

If you want to stick with the brutix I’d probably throw a large cap battery and MWD on. You can pretty much throw the same fit on a proteus and gain a bunch of warp speed with the warp speed sub plus hyperspatials.

The standard mission blitz mach with a few sensor boosters is a pretty good choice too.

This is my blitz ferox, does a touch less dps than the brutix but the extra range mostly makes up for it. Also it’s a pretty cheap fit.

and yea, once you cross ~500 dps with good projection you can dps tank lv3s

If you want to blitz for standings looting/salvaging is pretty much the worst thing you can do.
