Leak or good sense of future?

I have some faction bpcs am I best making the items or leaving the bpc and seeing what I get.

Hard to tell. The additional input cost should normally just be a few minerals, right? Offensive POS modules won’t be retired before POSes themselves are retired and currently people still use them. It might be worth to build and sell them.

Well you didn’t manage to, but it I don’t believe you that it wasn’t your intention. Trying to get people answer a totally biased question, in which you already preempt part of the result and try to exclude other options, is not happening by accident.

I take this as a “prefer not to answer”. Thanks.

It’s obviously not easy to answer.

You can decide for yourself how to take it.

It wasn’t hard to answer, as you can see from my reply. All I had to do was to think about what bothers me about your question, realize that it’s underlying presumption is wrong and that you try to make me answer anyway but only by confirming or denying, and then to tell you that I see what you were trying to do there.

After I have done that, you pretend that I didn’t answer your question. Which leads me to believe that it was not an accident, but you did it on purpose.

Sorry, you failed.

Personally I keep them and wait what CCP will come up with.

The question was not “What bothers you about this question?”.

I don’t care for your thought process. All I wanted was a simple answer, because it’s a simple question, and I’m not judging you for it.

What you did was asking a suggestive question in order to try and trick people into false dilemma. You didn’t want to know what we are thinking, what you wanted was a reaction that reinforces your wrong underlying assumption simply by answering the question with your forced yes/no option. It’s a common fallacy as I’m sure you know.

It’s a bit cheap, don’t you think?

(*) I mean, not a bad attempt, but I don’t see what you’re trying to prove to yourself here.

Ignore it, don’t think about it anymore. It’s all good.

Indeed

So can I ask you the question now?

If not then I will accept it as “prefer not to answer”.

I like fish sticks.

Also, no one gives a ■■■■.

Sorry, had to break up the verbal jerk off session between you two…

I’m not jerking him. I’m merely using the moment where he’s in a good mood to ask if I can ask him again. I’m obviously persistent and because he felt tricked at first, but nobody is being jerked or judged. I’m giving him a second chance to look at the question again and maybe he feels he can give a simple answer now. He is entirely free to answer the question any way he likes or to ignore it.

As a matter of fact I didn’t feel tricked, because you failed to trick me.

You are free to ask anything, but if you want to pose the exact same question again, my answers are above and there is no need to fill more space with repetition.
If you ask a non-fallacious question, I might answer in a different way.

What kind of fish?

Or anybody else who thus won’t feel like you try to make people say what they don’t say.
( don’t think of me, as I am don’t feel concerned, but of tipa who made the effort to answer you in a correct way)

Couldn’t say, and not sure I want to know either. I’m pretty sure all fish sticks are a mystery meat of random fish parts, kind of like hot dogs or bologna…

Yeah, good point.

Also you’re right, repeating the circle is not worth it. However, I thought it’s good to make the effort once to point out a classic case of someone trying to put up a false dilemma. I have nothing against heated discussions or people finding that they really can’t find common ground, but I’m not a fan of rhetoric tricks. I prefer an honest “f*ck you” between two people who disagree.

There are only 4 or 5 players on this entire forum that do that, and he just happens to be one of them…

I’ve only seen Salvos doing it before, but I’m not really a regular, just having bursts of high activity between long times of not really reading anything.

Maybe there is an odd chance that someone who isn’t used to this kind of rhetorics stumbles upon this thread and learns something from it. But meh, probably not.
