[Lifeblood] Moon Mining Revamp - Main Thread

I’m not seeing any moon ore, ice or asteroid ore reprocessing rigs on the market.

Cheers,
Neug

there you go

Cheers, I got on earlier and saw they were added but thanks anyway.

pt 1. Any chance we can get an ‘export to file’ functionality built into the moon scan results similar to the ‘export to file’ functionality on the market? We can copy paste I know, so I understand that it is low priority, but the cleanliness of it self exporting would be very much appreciated.

pt 2. You guys took the effort to give each ore it’s own color in the scan results. Can we get a list somewhere of the hex values for the colors you guys are using for each Ore in the scans? That would be really nice for propagating a uniform coordination across everyone’s downstream industry workflow.

Scary new tactics which gives the defender the home plate vs the attackers.

When your mining you can instant web your self to the refineries. How? using the weapons on board stru.
Using super caps maybe riskier now that rorquals can lock rocks near it making a great tank for tackle again.

Sure! (or, you can get the rgb values)

Any chance we can get more variation in how the ores look? I don’t mind them being Sammy to lower the strain on the art guys but can they at least have different color pallets? My eyes are old and i rely on looks more than the text in my hangers.

Pull my RORQUAL to the edge of the shields of the stru and drone mine safely :). Run my industrail command mode too for my gank NO RISK! Just turn on the pulse mode then let it burn out or dock after it’s done! Other great thing is using the BIG drones just undock a repair capital and repair them from LONG RANGE if they get attacked until they get back this new RING mining will be AWESOME! No Riskies for rorquals no more!

Except the belt is over 100km away so your better off mining with a prospect with how slow you’re mining.

If you want to rep those drones then whatever you’re repping them with is also sitting well outside tether range.

I’m still wondering where the Standup Tractor Beam is so the refinery operator can pull in jetcans.

Confirmed fixed, thanks a lot for making the upcoming moonscanning a little bit less annoying

Its not belts only sit 148km - 200km max out from the station. If you sit a rorquals and turn your industrial mode on your safe with no riskes. You can’t use the BIG mining drones it would take long time to send them and bring them back. Anyone who hot drops you, you can just pulse up let it BURN out then dock. Just use T2 MINING drones with max out links and nav.

Yes you wont get rich off doing it this way. You pull in about 65k m 3 worth per hour.

You’re still faster with a prospect than you are using t2 drones over 100km

I think you are forgetting some bits.

While target locked you don’t tether.
While warp disrupted you can’t dock.

PANIC module doesn’t stop people from locking you or warp disrupting you. It just makes your shield resists really high.

Also to add to this, we’re making a change for this release where if you are tethered, mining drones will not be able to transfer any collected ore to your cargohold.

Will all units of moon ore be 10 m3 each on TQ or is that still TBD until patch day?

Yup, they will remain at 10m3

Thanks for the reply! I’m guessing the compositions of all the moon ores will be same on TQ they are currently on SISI?

Barring any final adjustments these are accurate now yes

Your missing the point. So you can’t drop a titan in to DD you or mass fleet of dreads on your rorqual. Why? because once your PANIC mode burns out you can “DOCK” SO why on earth would you need to be tethered. YES you can dock in the large not the medium.
