Suggestion: Move or remove unused skill points notification popup
Keywords: skill points, UI
Note: QOL
Please move or remove the message box on the notification feed that you have unused skill points, because the stupid thing always pops up directly on top of the UI element that lets you USE those unused skill points.
Suggestion: Access List Control Keyword: ACL, ui, Note: Enable you to link select Character(s) PI Bays from POCOs/Skyhooks via an ACL, allowing collection from a central admin character
Suggestion: Automated Routing Keyword: Planetary Interaction, PI, ui Note: A button you can press that automates the routing and recipe selected for factories determined by the Extractor’s extraction recipe.
Suggestion: Extractor Set-all Button Keyword: Planetary Interaction, ui Note: A button that allows you to auto-set as many extracting nodes as the planet CPU/PWG can handle.
Suggestion: Resource Extractor Time Field Keyword: Planetary Interaction, ui Note: A time field box where you can type in the extraction length manually
Suggestion: Persist probe scan results between client restarts
Keywords: ui, probe scanning, client
Note: Getting a D/C or logging off clears all the hard work of scanning signatures down.
When I’m doing the data/relic/event sites and scanning, I sometimes get disconnected, which causes the probe scan results to reset. This isn’t very pleasant at times. Because of this, I also leave my PC logged into EVE when taking a break, like going for a walk. If EVE were to persist the probe scan results, I could save some energy by letting it hibernate. Better for the environment too.
This isn’t a problem it’s a QoL improvement. Nothing in this thread is a problem. And you CAN compare it to mission running. The equivalent of that would be that the person who got the last hit should get the bounty of the npc.
It would be great if search boxes didn’t initiate the search after every character I type. It would be much more convenient if the search only started after one second of inactivity, or when I press ENTER or click a button. Triggering the search with every keystroke is especially problematic in the Industry window, though it’s also an issue in other windows. It got much worse now that we can see the 3D model in the Industry window and we can’t even disable that 3D preview.
Suggestion: mark Route in Overview like when doing AIR
Keyword: Overview, Route
when on select a Destination; out of Station the Destination on Route is only a pale yellow Mark in the Overview.
That is not easy to spot for elderly Players.
Please do like in AIR when the whole Row is in blue or make it customizible…
Suggestion: Make wormhole combat anomalies despawn automatically within 7 days
Keywords: whs, wh, pve, anomalies, respawn
Note: Combat anomalies (and datas/relics in high class wormholes) get “stuck” in vacant systems for long periods of time. Please change the automatic renewal time of anomalies to be 1 week. Currently, players must find and initiate warp to anomalies to get them to despawn and get relegated elsewhere in the class.
Suggestion: Fix Industry Planner Keyword: ui, manufacturing, industry Note: Industry Planner doesn’t always show effect of Installed Rigs on material requirements.
Suggestion: Fix "Search Anything Keyword: ui Note: Search anything UI will sometimes fail to return results and block you from more queries for 60 seconds. This happens even when searching a system Name to then set destination. Search UI should always perform search vs System Names when matching format, and not block access to API for 60 seconds if a system name can be matched
Suggestion: Stop automoving idle characters to kspace from wormholes
Keywords: whs, wh, wormholes
Note: Auto-moving characters from WHs to kspace is a net negative and against the cold and hard EVE ethos. It’s also super annoying to have chars seeded get moved. Individuals (especially in low-class wormholes) also abuse the knowledge of this mechanic to extract their assets.

Note: Reduce number of clicks needed to restart extractors
Lets assume one has a character with 6 PI extraction planets. To restart all extractors, that takes a boat load of clicks. For each planet:
2x to open the planet
1x to select the extractor
1x to Install extraction program
1x to Start Extraction
1x to Submit
1x to leave the planet
For six planets this totals up to 42 clicks each extraction cycle (for each character / for each account).
I propose two solutions:
Add a “Restart Extractors” button at the bottom of the Planetary Industry window. We can still enjoy the part where we’re flying around in our spaceships to pick up the stuff and dump the resources into factories (or land in a bubble taking a gate). Just all the tedious RSI generating work for extracting is gone. This approach would require one click for restarting everything (or a whopping 4200% qol improvement).
Alternatively, if one click is not enough work: A little ‘refresh’ icon behind the extractor’s resource would be a good option as well. This way we’ll be doing 6 clicks to restart all extractors (a 700% qol improvement, still pretty good)
Note: Bookmarks are essential to the life of wormholers. 500 bookmarks is very restrictive and requires frequent purges of bookmarks in order to map chains adequately. In an ideal world, greater control over the expiration of bookmarks would be nice too.
Suggestion: Don’t allow deletion of bookmark folder except from owner. Keyword: ui, bookmarks Note: When granting a friend admin access to a shared bookmark folder, if they delete rather than disconnect, it will delete the folder for all users, and is unrecoverable
